Develop the overall framework of the monitoring and evaluation activities; clarify the responsibilities and prepare the work plan and the detailed budget for the monitoring and evaluation activities;
Networking and partnership in National DRR forum, Emergency Response, WASH, Food Security Cluster, CASH Working group and Partnership for Resilient Alliance.

Capacity building of JUH staff in DRR, WASH, Community Mobilization, Disability Independent Living & Emergency Response programming

Provide technical support to PMU on CBDRR and emergency response programming
Main Tasks & Responsibilities:
Provide strategic and technical backing to DRR, WASH & Emergency within Johanniter Pakistan strategic parameters.
Assist project teams in the development of DRR & Emergency response plans
Work for DRR integration into preparedness and response programming.
Provide technical support to the development program in integrating DRR, Emergency Preparedness, Response, WASH and disability mainstreaming in Johanniter response strategy.
Develop the overall framework of the monitoring and evaluation activities; clarify the responsibilities and prepare the work plan and the detailed budget for the monitoring and evaluation activities;
Supervise the work of the Monitoring and Evaluation office staff
Provide guidance and technical support and coordinate the review of program log frames including, providing technical advice for the revision of performance indicators and ensuring that realistic intermediate and end-of-program targets are defined
Identifying sources of data, collection methods and resources needed
Contribute to the development of the Field Implementation Plan (FIP)
Ensuring alignment with Field /HQ strategy, agreement on program indicators and inclusion of monitoring and evaluation activities in the work plan and establish contacts with other monitoring and evaluation stakeholders
Review and provide feedback to program on the quality of methodologies established to collect monitoring data, and document the protocols that are in place for the collection and aggregation of this data
Assist the project team to develop and use innovative approaches to monitor the performance of the DRR project/program in Pakistan.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the DRR & Emergency Response and preparedness project in Pakistan.
Represent Johanniter in DRR Forum, Partnership for Resilience (P4R) Alliance, DM Networks and other cluster, forum and group, contribute to technical interactions and discussions on the same at national level.
Assist program development unit for the development of quality integrated, DRR, WASH & Emergency Response and preparedness proposals targeting institutional funding at country level.
Provide inputs in program budgeting and ensure monitoring and accountability.
Program Development and Implementation
Provide a continuous assessment of the situation of beneficiary communities and advising on long-term appropriate Johanniter interventions in Pakistan.
Design and prepare proposals for long-term program interventions and seek/or identify sources of funding for new program.
Support Johanniter in conducting baseline survey, VCA, HVCA and other required research
Identify the needs and support to staff and partners to increase their competence in DRR, Disability inclusion and Emergency Response.
Participate in the recruitment, selection and induction of new integrated project staff.
Provide training to develop the capacity of Johanniter project staff in community mobilization, disability mainstreaming, DRR, Emergency Response.
• Provide Technical support to the District coordinators of Punjab, Sindh, KPK, GB and AJK
• Coordinate with the provincial and district DRM Authorities
to coordinate the work of DDRMCs operational with the DDMU.
• Provide technical support to the Coordinators of GB, Mansehra, and Muzaffarabad for Organizing and conducting community based Disaster risk reduction campaign with the most vulnerable communities of District Gilgit, Mansehra, and Muzaffarabad.
• Assist Advocacy Coordinator for organizing advocacy campaign through media for the Operationalization of the DDMUs
• Organize CBDRR training for all the identified CBDRR teams at Provincial level.
• Ensure timely and effective implementation of the project activities.
• Ensure smooth coordination with various donor agencies.
• Designing new projects for future based on ICB-DRR and CCA.
• Establishment of emergency response centers at district level.
Monitoring & Evaluation
• Provide guidance and technical support and coordinate the review of programme log frames including, providing technical advice for the revision of performance indicators and ensuring that realistic intermediate and end-of-programme targets are defined
• Coordinate the preparation of all monitoring and evaluation reports. guide staff and executing partners in preparing their progress reports in accordance with approved reporting formats and ensure their timely submission
• Develop field complaints mechanism, related processes and procedures to ensure that departments and program have access to and are able to respond to community feedback
• Coordinate with departments and program the implementation of complaints mechanism including the quality and timeliness of replies provided to beneficiaries’ complaints;
Coordination with District Disaster Management Authority regarding the deployment and management of Disaster Risk Management coordinators.
Organizing and smooth running of CBDRR campaign in the targeted most vulnerable districts of Pakistan as DRC focal person and Master Trainer.
Organizing and conducting trainings of government officials on Disaster Risk Management & Strengthening Institutional Mechanisms during, before and After Disasters as the lead trainer.
Acquire regular (monthly) reports from the provincial and district level coordinators about the progress of their work and Security situation at the Local level.
Edit the reports and documents send by the experts and advisors and Issue advisory on the security situation in the field.
Coordination of the payments of all coordinators as per their contracts.
Conducted CBDRR, PHAST and disability inclusion trainings with the District Officials
Ensure timely and effective implementation of the project activities

In coordination with the Training Coordinator implement monitoring tools and collect information from the field in order to consolidate in the reports.
Prepare budgets for the center and take to board meetings for approval
Monitor funds to ensure accurate and transparent accounting systems
Work closely with the database assistant to compile financial and activity reports
Promote and assist in the development and/ or introduction of new approaches, methods and practices in Project implementation, monitoring and evaluation.
Acquire regular (monthly) reports about the progress and Security situation
Consolidate and forward narrative and financial report to HI Country office
Ensure timely and effective implementation of the project activities
