Financial Accounting
Supervise accounting practices, managing the accounting department, preparing budgets,
financial Statements and Management reports and audit functions.
Ensure timely data entries, Reconciliation and availability of proper supports with checks and
balances.
Reconciliation of control accounts with sub ledgers, bank reconciliations and aging
analysis of Accounts Payables and Receivables.
Develop suitable business MIS to encapsulate all the key performance indicators,
financial, commercial & operational.
Implement IFRS in the Accounting culture for awareness and smooth outcome of annual
audit of the Company.
Value Added Tax (VAT)
To keep abreast of current developments relating to VAT and other taxation issues in all
jurisdictions of GCC.
Preparation and Final submission of VAT Return to FTA.
To review and monitor the adequacy of systems of company, procedures and other
relevant records to ensure compliance with VAT, excise and other taxation Regulations.
Review financial information of the company (such as, detailed trial balances - without
any net-offs) to identify VAT touch-points and the potential VAT impact.
Functional VAT technical training for Accounts Receivables (AR), Accounts Payable
(AP), sales.
Preparation of VAT manual for the company including updated processes and procedures
(upon the availability of VAT Law).
Treasury and Banking
Monitor liquidity of all accounts from where payments are issued including timely
arrangement of funds.
Act as a first point of contact with all banks and financial institutions for all accounts /
funds transfers, issues & queries.
Prepare Weekly Cash Report including comments on major variances in cash balances
compared to previous week.
Prepare rolling monthly operating cash flow forecast to ensure funds are available as and
when required.
Identify excess funds and recommend short term deposits with banks as required.
Coordinate with the banks on KYC requirements including filing FATCA forms /
requirements.
Prepare bank reconciliations, identifies differences and resolves queries to ensure
minimal reconciling items.
CASH Flow Management
Ensure adequate liquidity to meet the organization's needs.
Weekly review of accounts receivables and discussion with credit and sales department.
Oversee the strategy & performance of the invoicing & credit control functions, ensuring active collection
techniques & minimal bad debt exposure.
Manage the financial resources and ensures proper utilization of Group financial resources (cash flow,
WCR, investments).
Custom Clearance & Import-Export
Communicate with Freight Forwarders, Shipping Companies and custom clearance agents regarding import
and re-export of stocks.
Prepare required documentation for claim submission to Customs for obtaining the custom refund on the
re-exported stock.
Monthly Closing of Accounts
Prepare and processes accrual entries for loan interest expense, deposits interest income
Prepare prepayment schedules, advances and prepare amortization entries.
Review trial balance and clearing queries.
Prepare Financial Reports as required by Senior Management.
Generate monthly reports including AP Aging, Payments and Open PO Reports from ERP system.
Prepared and Analyzed Full set of Financial Statements.
Value Added Tax (VAT) preparation and final submission to relevant authorities. Book Keeping Assignments.
Internal Audit and System Implementation. Preparation of Internal audit reports and providing appropriate recommendations.
Identification of key business risks and overall risk assessment.
Agreeing and obtaining management comments on the draft Internal Audit Report.
ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE
