As an ERP Business Analyst I provide senior-level project management, business analysis, and functional expertise for the design, development, operation, and modification of mission critical, enterprise-wide information systems. Align accounting initiatives with business strategy; conduct analysis of processes, introduce internal controls, and increase system efficiencies. I currently support 9 companies setup in SAP Business One.

● Successful End-to-End SAP Business One ERP implementation at 6 newly acquired companies from ERP systems such as Sage - ACCPAC, MAS 90, and QuickBooks

● Asses full scope of implementation, identify GAP; meet with Finance and Operations team to understand business model, company structure, and business needs; create Business Requirement and Functional Spec Document

● Ensure smooth transition to new ERP; Create and maintain project plan (Microsoft Project) for implementations, constantly update the stake holders on the timeline and milestones

● As an Accounting Expert: Map Chart of Accounts, Setup Cost Centers, Inventory Warehouses, Business Partners, Item Groups/Codes, Sales Tax Codes, and Set GL Determination, prepare DTW templates

● Ensure ALL Financial Transactions as well as Financial Statements are in compliance with Schlumberger policies and US GAAP; Recommend Best Practices A/R, A/P, Inventory, Job Costing, Sales Tax

● Implement Fixed Asset Module FAME; Define Fixed Asset Groups, create Asset ID, recommend depreciation Methods, Import Fixed Asset Data and train users on Fixed Asset Module

● Work with implementation team to create test scripts for User Acceptance Testing, document workflows and create Training Manual for users

● Analyze financial implications of different inventory valuation methods, workflow, reconcile Sub Ledgers to General Leger and recommend solutions to achieve best possible results


● Write SQL queries to generate ad-hoc management reports such as Sales by Basins

● Format Financials, A/P, A/R, Sales Quote, and printed Checks in Crystal Report

● Conduct one-on-one training and group training with all business functional group

● Coordinate with stake holders to conduct Conference Room Pilot before go live

● Support the team post go live; help resolve accounting or system related issues

Responsible for preparation of consolidation, cash flow preparation and management reporting, month-end close duties, including bank reconciliations, prepaid amortizations and corporate allocations. Oversee the compliance with U.S. GAAP for 14 US based factories and 21 distribution locations and assist with the development and implementation of internal controls and reporting packages for all locations.

● Works closely with accounting team, remote sales, operations and warehouse personnel to ensure the proper and accurate flow of information from operations to accounting and accurate recordkeeping

● Train and provide support to new factory accountants and current warehouse managers on Navision - PO, A/P Module, A/R Module, Intercompany Transactions, Deposits, and Warranty

● Coordinate with accountants from 14 companies and 21 distribution centers to reconcile outstanding balance from $9 Million down to zero

● Work within multiple ERP systems mainly SAP and Microsoft Dynamics Navision to perform consolidation of Financial Statements and Reporting in SAP ECC

● Interact with international auditors for explanation and fulfilling all audit requests in a timely manner

● Reconcile all balance sheet accounts post Month End and provide comment on outstanding items based on materiality

● Perform month-end accounting tasks and financial reports in accordance with US GAAP and IFRS

● Record Revenue of $80MM from home sales, loan origination revenues, sales of titles, insurance

● Prepare detailed Audit Workpapers quarterly for 6 Entities for the senior management and auditors

● Reconcile and record Inter-Company Transactions ~ $50MM; perform Netting and Balance transfers

Coordinated THREE major international IT projects. Reviewed Bank Core Systems for TATA Consulting Services, Oracle, and Info Sys for US Regulatory Compliance requirements.

● Create Project Plan: work closely with managers to define the scope, compliance areas for review, setup timeline, and identify resources

● Work closely with senior consultants at Sheshunoff to explore compliance requirements for each functional area and create business requirement documentations

● Review functional specification documents created by the development team and communicate with the subject matter experts

● Create Test Scripts for the development team for UAT, run the test script in the system, present the results to the compliance managers for acceptance

● Develop MS Access Database for Compliance Regulatory Workprograms; Migrate Compliance Regulatory Workprograms from MS Word into MS Access

● Help on special projects such as Fair Lending Analysis: Run statistical analysis on financial & non-financial data and present the findings to management
