Job Responsibilities:
• Quality engineer establish, implement and maintain Quality management systems(QCS) to measure and control quality standards in the production process of pulp and paper industry.
• My role includes with specialized information includes technical data, calculations, resource information, recommended practices, glossaries, guidelines, and bibliographies for use in the manufacture of paper and related products according to TAPPI Standars .
• Determines quality improvement parameters by identifying statistical methods relevant to manufacturing processes.
• Develop method statement for the activity including risk assessment and job safety environmental analysis and Inspection Test Plan and Checklist based on specifications of the project.
• Establishes statistical confidence by identifying sample size and acceptable error; determining levels of confidence.
• Develops sampling plans by applying attribute, variable, and sequential sampling methods.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

• Develops project objective by reviewing project proposal and plans, conferring with management.
• Responsible for handling multiple site portfolios, operational activities, emergency response, safety, collection, regulatory compliance, re-development, customer interaction.

• Completing technical studies and preparing cost estimates.
• Confirms product performance by designing and conducting tests.
• Determines project Schedule, project plan and specifications, calculating team requirements and then sequencing project elements.

• Participate and regularly leads a multi-disciplinary team in safety reviews e.g. HAZOP study, What-If analysis, Cause and Effects reviews, etc. to help resolve day to day operations related safety issues and helps determine safety and feasibility of minor facility modifications.
• Prepares safety review/ risk assessment reports and provide follow up tracking advice to client.
• Participates in expansion project design reviews, proposed facility modifications (MOC's) safety reviews and risk assessment.
