Responsible for the management of all areas of SAP Basis; SAP architecture, reporting to management of performance, and upgrades; correction and transport management (CTS/TMS), client and landscape strategies, batch scheduling, OSS note research and application, SAPGUI deployment, application server load balancing, spool administration, daily system checks (CCMS), disaster recovery testing, and performance tuning.
• Manages Basis administrators on the performance, reliability and availability of the SAP systems in alignment with industry standards.
• Implement the disaster recovery strategy.
• Responsible for the formulation and realization of performance goals as related to SAP systems.

• Escalates SAP problems utilizing OSS problem notification.
• Evaluates EarlyWatch reports and recommends appropriate changes based upon those reports
• Manages team on tunable parameters for SAP and OS systems, monitors performance parameters for their effectiveness.
• Manage processes for the proper management of SAP including incident, change, and problem management
• Manage SAP client copies, system copies, imports / exports, and transports as needed.
• Manage project planning and execution for major activities such as software upgrades, software configuration changes and hardware upgrade or replacement.
• Develops plans and schedules the development, introduction, communication and maintenance of the SAP systems architecture including the applications and infrastructure architectures and assures that this architecture is integrated with the application road maps and strategies.
Key Projects & Achievements
• SAP servers migration from In-house environment to Rapid Compute cloud. All SAP servers including ECC & BI Production, Development & QA, BO Server migrated to cloud successfully.
• Starting phase of SAP technical upgrade project to upgrade SAP ECC environment from ECC 6.0 base version to EHP7 & BI servers from version 7.0 to 7.4.
• Worked as Project Manager for all infrastructure related projects.
• Develop strategies, initiate, plan & deliver IT projects with payback time & return on investment (ROI) to deliver services in accordance with the corporate business objectives.
• Manage & administer 24X7 high available & mission critical IT Infrastructure providing SAP & other application services to all business functions, ensure confidentiality, integrity and availability of all information assets and services.

• Proxy Server Administration: Administration & change in Configuration of PROXY under LINUX 2.4.X with disk cache using Squid, DNS & firewall using IPtables as per requirement. Allow & Block Users from using Internet through Policy.
• Domain Administration: Management & Administration Network Services under Windows 2008 Server Active Directory Service (ADS), WINS, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP Protocol Suit & Security Policies using Group Policy of ADS, & Symantec End Point Protection.
• Firewall Administration: Management & Administration of Netscreen NS208 Firewall.
• LAN & WAN Links Administration: Established and manage WAN links e.g. IPLC link from Indus Motors to TTNI Singapore and Dealership connectivity. Monitoring of active devices, monitoring and extension in local area network of over 700 nodes through Fiber or Copper cables or wireless LAN.
• As a System support Engineer (Network) responsible for project Designing, Trouble shooting (LAN/WAN), Installation & Configuration (Servers, Software, Hardware and Networks) to clients.
• Actively involved in pre & post sales activities, which include the designing & implementation of IT Infrastructure & Network Design to clients

• Design & Implement IT Infrastructure of more than 50 Structured Giga Speed switched & manageable Network nodes using TCP/IP protocol suite under MS-Windows NT 4.0 & 20 Workstations at Area51.
• Provided network and Internet connectivity through MS Proxy server to all the stalls in ITCN Asia 2001.

• I was the team leader of Daily OKAZ Project in Jeddah. We configured 27 Compaq proliant servers in six surface mount racks. Out of these 27 servers 4 servers were used to create 2 clusters.
• Installation and configuration of WindowsNT on Compaq Proliant servers in Jeddah Obroy Hotel, Dallah al- Barakah, Mobil Oil, Winney Murrey, Shirka Abdul Latif Jameel & few others.
