Ensure external and internal requirements, including legal compliance and customer expectations
Coordinate the activities require to meet quality and HSE standards.
Monitor and advise on the performance of the HSE and quality management system and produced data and reports on performance, measuring against set indicators.
Liaise with other departments to ensure that QHSE system is functioning properly, advice on changes and their implementation and provide training, tools and techniques to enable others to achieve quality.
Set QHSE improvement objectives and ensuring that targets are achieved.
Monitor and audit performance of suppliers and subcontracted services and ensuring performance is monitored against contracted SLA.
Ensuring compliance with national and international standards and legislations.
Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation procedures.
Conduct quality and risk management analysis and ensure controls are in place to minimize risk at acceptable level.
Identify relevant HSE and quality related training needs and delivering training.
Liaising with customer auditors and ensuring the execution of corrective action and compliance with customer’s specifications.
Ensuring project Risk assessment / Job Hazard analysis.
Participate in Emergency & First aid activities.
Report near misses, incident and initiate participate in incident investigations.
If an imminent danger is observed or task is assigned that poses risk of death or serious injury, promptly, will warn any person who is at risk and immediately stop the work and discuss the hazardous situation.
Promptly report the stop work to supervisor/FM manager/OM including high risk subcontractors work, promptly report to their company designated representative and to the client.
Implement and promote EHS programs
Conduct emergency drills, Fire Mock Drills, Emergency Evacuation Drill
Prepare Activity Risk Assessment, HIRA and controls
Monitoring all safety aspects of the Scaffolding, Blasting, Painting and Insulation work.
Fleet coordinator and Arrangement for Defensive Driving Certificate (DDC).
Arranging and preparation for Third Party Inspection (safety Certificate).
Conduct on Fire Protection, prevention and control
Conduct H2S and gas leak emergency drill
Implement risk assessment and controls as per client (GASCO) system
Implement the permit to work system as per client(GASCO) required
Conduct regular Safety Trainings
Ensure workplace safety comply with company statutory requirements
Conduct training on fire fighting using fire equipments
Conduct site safety inspection and follow-up actions
Assist in or conduct incident investigation
Conduct and present monthly safety findings
Conduct safety induction for new personnel at site
Conduct regular safety training, briefing
Conduct daily tool box talk
Inspect tools and equipments
Inspect Fire Extinguishers, vehicles, equipments etc.
Prepare monthly/weekly/daily HSE reports
Monitor unsafe act and unsafe conditions
Implementing Safety and Health policies and procedure.
Assists in risk management and hazards identification in different areas in the location.
Assist in Investigating and reporting of all incident, accident, injuries and hazard.
Conducting Tool Box Talk (TBT) in daily basis as per rules of the management.
Advise and assist management in fulfilling of safety obligations & setting goals for safety matters.
Analyzing incident and accident report.
Conducting Health and Safety Environment training to the new coming workers in the site.
Complete and submit daily activity reports.
Inspection of work site daily for any unsafe condition and initiate for immediate corrective action, refer more complex issues to a senior HSE Personnel
Prepare & Submit daily safety reports / Inspection Reports.
To record and maintain a database of all inspections conducted to follow up and identify corrective actions.
Maintaining records of PTW’s to be available for auditing as required by company standards
Installation of safety signs, traffic control signs and other safety promotion posters to remind workers to work safely and enhance safety awareness among them.
Investigation of all Accidents, incident / Near misses / Spills / Fires to find the root Causes and recommends corrective actions.
Carrying out site safety inductions. Identifying staff training requirements.
Carrying out safety inspections.
Ensure that sufficient barricades and warning signs are provided in areas where lifting operations is being done.
Conduct safety inspection of work areas to ensure safe working conditions.
Implementation of company safety procedures to prevent accident/loss.
Carry out inspection and audits on a regular basis to ensure safe work practices are in operation.
Investigation and analysis of accident/incident and reporting to the higher authorities.
Monitoring all safety aspects of the Scaffolding, Blasting, Painting and Insulation work.
Preparing and arranging accident report, near-miss incident report with needful of documentation.
Safety precautions are taking in place as per site requirements and to be inducted and distributed.
Knowledge of safe working procedure of all type of rigging job, lifting operation, scaffolding-fabrication job, crane operation.
Arranging and ordering approved Personal Protection Equipments in addition to inspect for all employee’s PPE before joining their duties.
Toolbox talks (TBTs) to perform best practice between supervisor and labors.
Fleet coordinator and Arrangement for Defensive Driving Certificate (DDC).
Ensure all company’s/hired plant and equipments confirms to safety regulations
Arranging and preparation for Third Party Inspection (safety Certificate).
Conduct workers training and meeting with safety manager and engineers.
Anticipate with site manager and engineers in investigation process.
Conducting safety induction for the workforce mobilized to site.
