work abilities and responsibilities: Electrical Field: - Electrical control and power circuit repairing, troubleshooting and installation.
- Single phase and three phase A.C. and D.C. motors installation, control and power troubleshooting work.
- HV, MV and LV transformers and breakers installation and maintenance knowledge.
- Electrical works related to ALSTHOM generators maintenances.
Instrumentation and Electronic Field
- Combustion Inspection, Hot Gas Path Inspection and Major Inspection of Alstom and European gas turbines, which includes calibration and testing of all instruments and equipments.
- Fault tracing and resuming work of speedtronic control system Mark-II, Mark-IV, Mark-V and Mark-VI.
- Calibration of pressure transmitters, flow meters thermocouples and pressure gauges of gas streams and slope tank of Metering and Regulating Gas Station.
- Calibration and fault resuming work of all types of flow meters, pneumatic valves, electromechanical valves, pressure switches, thermocouples and pressure transducers used in MED, R. O. and S. W. R. O. water desalination plants.
- Fire Fighting Systems installation, operation and maintenance works.
Operation: - Work operation of Alstom and European gas turbines frame 5 & 6, start, stop and synchronization.
Clerical: - Preparation of letters to suppliers and administration.
- Preparation of maintenance schedules.
- Preparation of all spare parts for different types of maintenances.
- Well coordination and support in all these fields with respective engineers.
