Pioneer LNG producer in the Gulf region with $1B in revenue and 3, 500 employees in the Abu Dhabi headquarter offices and DAS Island LNG plant, producing LNG, LPG, Sulphur and Paraffinic Naphtha in partnership with TOTAL, BP and Mitsui Company.

Hand-selected by ADNOC Group to take care of Electrical & Instrumentation related maintenance activities for smooth plant operation. Reported to the Senior Vice President of LNG Plant, directed and managed a 36-members team.

Successfully planned & delivered many major turnarounds and CI & CITP shutdowns by having close co-ordination and follow up with team leads of shutdown contractor with a focus on Electrical & Instrumentation related jobs.

Conducted interview campaigns to recruit technical manpower for major turnarounds and coordinated with HR for their mobilization and demobilization.

Successfully managed procurement and delivery of all shutdown related spares especially for the critical equipment and long lead items.

Achieved excellence in Spares balance investigation and inventory control for all electrical & instruments’ spare parts especially of critical equipment and close follow up with procurement.

Managed notifications, planned maintenance work orders, unplanned breakdowns and guided planning team to prepare the short term and long term maintenance plans and schedules.

Provided guidance for asset management and update of master data in SAP.

Successfully managed to classify the E & I related plant equipment in terms of criticality and release of equipment for maintenance.

Championed the excellence in maintenance and turnarounds through the complex financial conditions of oil and gas industry during 2016 by successfully implementing the cost optimization procedures.

Upgraded policies and procedures for maintenance and turnaround planning to be compliant with ADNOC and ADGAS’s new vision, mission and corporate structure.

Effectively evaluated new business costs, revenues, benefits and risk reduction strategies in line with cost optimization procedures.

Prepared and provided maintenance and shutdown compliance reports to the senior plant management and reviewed daily, weekly and monthly planning reports and schedules prepared by planning engineers.

Helping the Principal Investigator in conducting research in areas of interest to ADNOC and its operating companies especially for Electrical / Instrument Engineering and unconventional EOR.

Main focus for the research work was kept on HVDC Transmission, Contingency Analysis & Load Flow and Electrical EOR.

Power Quality Survey and analysis was also performed for High Voltage Drive Installations at some of ADNOC facilities. In addition, Optimization of a power plant with four Gas Turbine Generators was performed in order to minimize the cost of production and carbon mono oxide emissions.

Assisting the Lab Engineers in training Electrical Engineering students on different engineering equipment for laboratory work.
