Current responsibilities include mainly developing documentation for Audit Practice & Support Program initiated by ICAP based on IFAC SMOs for quality review of audit firms, other than those which are mandatorily required regular QCR review. In addition responsibilities include facilitation to ICAP Committee on Fiscal Laws and and other development assignments. Upto December 2020 have worked for ICAP Quality Assurance Department conducting QCR Reviews of Audit firms, including financial statements review for compliance of IFRS, ISAs and local regulatory requirements. Attended meetings of the Quality Assurance Board and involved in preparing minutes and Implementation Report. Also involved in developing audit programs and checklists for QCR assignments.
Have worked for ICAP technical committees viz. Committee on Fiscal Laws and Economic Advisory & Government Relations Committee. As the Secretary. my responsibilities included drafting of tax proposals for Federal and Provincial budgets based on ICAP recommendations, and research on economic issues for ICAP publications. Other responsibilities included technical update for ICAP newsletter and evaluation of annual reports for the Best Corporate and Sustainability Report Awards and SAFA Awards (a joint project of ICAP and ICMAP)
