• Acting as the technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, crafts people and operatives.
• Checking plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations;
• Coordination with CSCEC (Principal contractor and consultants LBG (Principal consultant), CPG airport (Principal designer), subcontractors, supervisors, planners, quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project.
• Liaising with clients and their representatives (architects, engineers and surveyors), including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress.
• Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
• Planning the work and efficiently organizing the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines.
• Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
• Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Preparation of various shop drawings i.e. Lift & Escalator’s pit, Cable Trenches, HT & TC ducts, Box culverts, Sewerage Manholes, Beams, Columns, Slabs for submission to consultant and for site execution.
• Steel rebar detailing as per construction drawings & specifications.
• Preparation of working methodologies and technical submittals.
• Steel structures including steel trusses & fixed gangway along with embedded parts.
• Supervision and preparation of shop drawing of foundations for Air handling units, HT and LT panels.
• Execution of the project up to the standard engineering practices with optimum utilization of resources.
• Conduct technical / plan review of construction documents and submit written responses identifying required corrections or changes.
• Ensuring that the qualities of construction works are in full compliance with the standards and specifications in the contract documents
• Collects and analyzes data for the Situation Analysis, program/project planning, management, and monitoring and evaluation purposes
• Supervised various works like Retaining walls, cutting and filling work, and execution of shear wall
