Manage administrative, fiscal and training functions of the training center for imparting technical training in five trades ie Electrical, electronics, computer hardware, motor winding, and Refrigeration and air conditioning
Management and supervision of Central Maintenance and Training activities for the Switches and Microwave Systems of Telecomm Network including component level repairs, Repair Capability Enhancements, Skill Development, Fiscal Management, HR Development, Training Modules Development and Skill Categorization Tests.
Management and supervision of entire spectrum of engineering activities including OA&M, Fiscal Management, HR management, Project implementation and Skill Enhancement in the fields of Telecommunications, Networking, Ground Electronics, Aerospace Ground Engineering, General Engineering, Weapons Engineering and Explosives ordinance disposal (EOD).
Staff Duties with Director of Networks (Bases) for policy formulation, implementation and monitoring on matters related to development, OA&M, project management, Fiscal management, Supply chain management, contract negotiations, HR development and skill enhancement for Communications network of the Air Force comprising long-haul transmission media (wired/wireless), switching networks and access networks comprising routers, switches and optical fiber systems and technologies. Additionally, liaison with all Government, semi Government and private organizations like NTC, PTCL, SCO and Mobile & Internet Service Providers on behalf of PAF.
Management and supervision of complete range of electronics activities including OA&M, Fiscal Management, HR management, Project implementation and Skill Enhancement in the fields of Telecommunications, Networking, Ground Electronics and Avionics. Moreover, management and supervision of shop level and factory level repair of complete range of avionics systems of PAF’s transport fleet.
Functions as Procurement Officer for implementation of complete procurement cycle including indent vetting, tender invitation, price negotiations, contract finalization as well as post contract follow up till contract maturity. Moreover, business dealings with local as well as international suppliers in Pak Rupees as well as foreign currency.
Staff Duties with Director of Air Defence Automation for policy formulation, implementation and monitoring on matters related to development, Expansions & Upgrades, OA&M, project management, Fiscal management, Supply chain management, contract negotiations, HR development and skill enhancement for Automation Support Equipment including Auto Communications, Environmental Control Systems, and Un-Interruptible Power Supplies Systems.
Functions as Member Technical Committee on Optical Fiber System in Project Management Board for management of all projects related to long-haul communications including technology selection, procurement, commissioning, OA&M, expansions, upgrades, Supply chain management and replacements. Additionally, policy formulation, implementation and monitoring on matters related to OA&M, Fiscal management, contract negotiations, HR development and skill enhancement for optical fiber systems including PDH, SDH and DWDM technologies and Outside Plants (OSP).
Responsible for OA&M, HR management and skill enhancement for Communications Flight of Air Defence Sector Operations Center, comprising approx 170 technical staff and responsible for Communication Systems of Air Defence Sector Operating center including Digital Switch, FM 800 Radio System, UHF, VHF & HF R/T Systems, Field Communication system and Auto communication System.
Functions as Technical Manager overseeing all matters related to OA&M, spares support, HR Management, skill enhancement and administrative control for the Air Defence Radar station comprising approx 70 technical staff and responsible for all electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering assets of the unit including Power generators, Mechanical Transport, Environmental Control Systems, UHF R/T System, and Field Communication system.
Functions as Technical Manager overseeing all matters related to OA&M, spares support, HR Management, skill enhancement and administrative control for the Air Defence Radar station comprising approx 70 technical staff and responsible for all electrical, electronic and mechanical engineering assets of the unit including Power generators, Mechanical Transport, Environmental Control Systems, UHF R/T System, and Field Communication system.
