Currently I am in the Production Engineering deptt. at Pak Suzuki Motor Company Ltd. where my prime responsibilities inculde:
1. Using Project Management tools for all the projects arising in the whole company.
2. Awarding contracts and getting projects done on time from contractors.
3. Preparing all relevant documentation including proposal, drawings, scope and benefits associated as well as budgeting all the costs of the project.
4. Allocating the projects cost from the Budgeted or revenue capital.
5. All relevant technical and project specific details are worked up to the best industry practices.
Supervising and controlling production activities for 4th Frigate F22-P Warship for Pakistan Navy.
Planning production activities.
Ensuring Safety of teams at work.
Proposal Management.
Correcting and proposing design flaws.
Planning the monthly / quarterly / yearly preventive maintenance schedules, optimizing opportunistic maintenance whenever possible.
Implementing the QMS systems, Implementing and fulfilling the requirements of ISO 9000, 14000, IKEA IWAY, QWAY Standards.
Responsible for ordering and receiving spares, ensuring their quantity and quality on arrival.
Responsible for sending machine parts to be repaired at vendors.
Deputed for special tasks related to Welding jobs, repairing of Grey Area Machines, Boiler and its accessory unit, ETP Plant, CRU Unit, Power House, and Surveillance and cross checking of facility at Stitching Units.
Carried out the pending work and successfully completed the “Condensate Recovery Unit” Energy Conservation System, and saved Rs. 0.6 million / month of water, 28˚C - 56˚C of boiler inlet water.
Headed a team of 30 Skilled Mechanical Workforce during the leave period of Sr. Mechanical Engineer (duration 1.5 months).
Assisted Sr. Manager Engineering in the erection of SAGA PAD STEAM and LOOSE Boiler (capacity=22ton/hr).
Being solely responsible for the LOOSE boiler’s commissioning period and coordinated with safety inspector, facilitated boiler engineer in carrying out inspections and closely monitor activities until 1st boiler firing.
Maintaining the calibration data and conducts tests on regular basis coordinating with Electric / Mechanical departments.
Checking the proper usage of PPE at workplace.
Ensuring the correct filling of Job Cards & Handover Forms.
Providing GM & Sr. Manager with daily machine downtimes.
Evaluating the total daily / weekly / monthly and yearly downtime of the machines.
Coordinating with the “ISO & Compliance department”.
Conducting trainings to promote safety and cleanliness at workplace.
