i. Ensure that all materials purchased are of appropriate quality and are timely delivered to the Distribution Center / Update the approved supplier list in a regular basis.

v. Maintain and improve the Quality and food safety management systems at 27 branches in accordance with local legislation / McDonald’s international standards.
vi. Establish SOP’s that enhance efficiency, effectiveness and accountability.
vii. Conduct training for staff on quality assurance concepts, tools and mechanisms as well as follow up to ensure it is activated.
viii. Ensure in coordination with store managers/ Warehouses that the safety stock are kept within acceptable levels and take needed actions if any item(s) fall short.
ix. Manage the forecasting process of all items in coordination with the warehouse purchasing manager / suppliers, especially in case of a promotional item and place purchasing orders accordingly.
x. Assess customer requirements and ensure that these are met through continually reviewing Customer’s Feedback and Complaints.
xi. Follow up with the suppliers and restaurants on the implementations and status of corrective actions that rises from external third party audits, second party audits and customer complaints.
xii. Oversee raw and finished product microbiological program and environmental program including issue investigation and follow up actions.
xiii. Plan and perform bi-annual mock recalls in coordination with McDonald’s suppliers. Follow-up and resolve any resulting issues
xiv. Work with operating staff to establish procedures, standards and systems.
xv. conduct a monthly meeting with local suppliers to discuss emerging issues, complaints, product quality and any issues with supplying the product, and follow up on the CA/PA program .
xvi. Perform market surveys and reviews for all local and foreign suppliers to Jordan Market and Coordinate the market visits with the foreign supplier’s representatives.
