 Check content of tender file, specification and drawings.
 Mark out specification section for specific risks.
 Prepare inquiries for specified suppliers.
 Contact supplier to confirm quotations.
 Read scope of work.
 Check Bill of quantities requirement.
 Read the tender drawings and understand the design
 Check for discrepancy in the design / information.
 Raise RFI’s for ambiguities.
 Complete take off drawings.
 Float inquiries with necessary specifications / drawings.
 Read instruction to tenderers.
 Compare quotations against specifications requirements.
 Advise suppliers / subcontractors (if applicable).
 Complete estimation form with prices and notes.
 Ensure that the schedule of drawings with revision and clauses of specification are recorded
correctly.
 Prepare list of exclusions.
 Discuss price with supervisor.
 Complete Bill of Quantity.
 Revise addendum and verify cost implication.
 Revise quotation and complete all estimation form.
 Adhere to Company Quality Control Procedures.
 Follow the estimation procedure.
