1. Receive notifications, log and process all work orders, ensuring conformance with the latest revision of the maintenance work order.
2. Create maintenance job plan, discuss in detail the SAP notifications received from operations with maintenance engineers for assigning resources and spares.
3. Develop works plans for maintenance jobs with necessary information to allow efficient scheduling and execution of maintenance work.

Possess a good working knowledge of the CMMS system and the Aramco Materials System (AMS), including use of the AMS catalog, requisitioning of AMS stock items, requisitioning of Direct Charge Materials, use of surplus materials, and procedures for returning surplus and excess materials to the Storehouse. (RTI).
16. Arrange for and schedule support service equipment to coincide with the work order scheduling.

Planner Maintenance Instrument & Electrical at Saudi Electricity Company ( SEC )

For 25 years, I have worked at the largest power plant in the Eastern Province, which comprises of 8 steam turbine units with a total capacity of 4400 MW and 3 water desalination units with total capacity of 12, 000 cubic meters per day. My work assignments were both in Maintenance and Technical Services Divisions
As an Instrumentation & Controls Maintenance Planner, I am responsible for Corrective, Predicative and Preventive Maintenance of I+C equipment from the start of the electronic work order (in CMMS) until the completion for the work and its documentation. The job includes following activities:
1. Receiving the on-line work order, assessment for its correctness, and review with the concerned Operations staff and Engineering staff to categorize the maintenance.
2. Review of the work scope by making site visits and discussions with concerned people.
3. Resource allocation, including parts, materials, tools & equipment, manpower, time and work duration, special arrangements such as boundary isolations, and safety requirements, etc.
4. Prioritizing of the work orders based on the criticality, system redundancy, availability of resources, and safety/hazard issues.
5. Ordering of the required parts and materials through the company warehouse. If not available, coordination the procurement of the parts.
6. Follow-up of the work through its execution until completion, and closing of the work orders.
7. Ensuring that all data (planning, execution, man-hour & material usage, costs, etc.) are entered in the CMMS properly and on-time.
8. Maintaining the work backlog and issuing statistical reports to the concerned.
9. Issuing routine reports on work order statistics showing all Key Performance Indicators (KPI).
10. Responsible for initial screening of incoming work notifications for work orders in order to close work orders in a timely manner through planning and communication.
11. Responsible for the preparation on the schedule of corrective and preventive maintenance activities.
12. To receive, inspect and store materials and deliver to the worksite according to the project schedule and in relation to the project’s safety and quality policies.
13. Managing the store inventory to optimum level, setting up the min/max levels, organizing the sore according to the type and usage of stocked items. Managing the electronic database of the inventory.
14. Communicate with outside vendors, the Company warehouse and the Plant Maintenance and Engineering Divisions on store and materials related issues.
15. Prepare technical specification, scope of work, and raising purchase request for new equipments. Also responsible to make technical evaluations for all offers from material suppliers.
16. Prepare scope of work and plan spare parts for annual turnaround maintenance.
17. Basic knowledge of PLC and SCADA software and hardware.
18. The safe use of a wide variety of hand and power tools, electronic and electric test equipment as related to field and shop work; and safe work practices.
19. Skill in: Inspecting, testing, repairing, and installing industrial instrumentation and controls according to established procedures and standards, reading instruments accurately working from and interpreting wiring and mechanical drawings; use of hand and power tools and equipment to test and calibrate instrumentation and controls.
20. Making estimates of labor and materials.

22. Keep accurate, complete records and prepare reports.
23. Conducting routine PM work and planned CM work.
24. Troubleshooting of failed instruments and equipment - both in-situ and in the shop.
