- Working toward balancing between price, quality and delivery.
- Negotiating best possible payment terms prior to awarding stage (whether contract/ PO).
- Monitoring subcontractor's performance (by seeking project manager's feedback regularly).
-Maintain strong working relationships with strategic suppliers to assure cost, quality, and delivery targets are met.
- Analyzing bills of material and drawings to understand key requirements (first, by making sure that BOQ are aligned with specification sheet. later, we compare the BOQ with design drawings ).
- Identifying cost reduction opportunities (such as deciding between supplier/ subcontractor or preference of one solution over another).
- Lead rigorous and objective contract negotiations with key internal stakeholders and support groups.
- Making training sessions for our registered suppliers.
- Leading groups in daily operations through my experience as site engineer leader.
I was responsible for low current system's infrastructure in King Abdulaziz Airport development project. My roles consist of:-
1. Supervise and coordinate job openings of the different subcontractors to assure no confliction appears between them and low current works.
2. Schedule meetings to modify as built drawings and seeking approval from the consultant.
3. Reporting site activities to the zone manager.
4. Verify inspection for closed jobs in order to release invoices.
5. Leading number of technicians and labors to assist daily operations and monitor LCS subcontractors.
- Low current systems includes Fire Alarm, Public Address, Access Doors and CCTV.
