Responsibilities: Caters to daycase surgeries like knee arthroscopy, appendectomy without complications, cataract extraction with PCI0L, incision and drainage of wound abscess, endoscopy, colonoscopy, blood transfusions, Rituximab / Infliximab Infusion, Circumcision, incision of perm cath access for dialysis, bronchoscopy and etc. Responsible from admission, pre- operative period and post operative management until stable and fit enough to be discharged on the same day of surgery. Implementing health teachings / management of care pertaining to what is specified for said procedure / surgery that has been done including follow-up appointment bookings as well as take home medications needed by the patient. To encourage and maintain ADL despite post operative status and to avoid complications.
Department: Cath. Lab Recovery Unit
Responsibilities: Caters to management and care of patients who have undergone post angiogram, post angioplasty, pacemaker insertion, cardiac biopsy, until they fully recovered from anaesthesia / sedation and stable enough to be transferred to ward set-up, and or HDU area.

Responsibilities: Basically caters to patients which are mostly military personnel and their dependents who will undergo an elective surgery or by emergency cases as seen in Emergency Room and then transferred to our ward set-up post operatively. Identifying related medical problems that could affect impending surgery, responsible for referrals for any current medical problems that needs immediate response in view of upcoming surgery (elective) preoperative teachings that would be relevant on what to expect during the surgery, after the surgery (post-operative) care and avoidance of complications Health teachings beneficial for care / management of said surgeries as follows; cholecystectomy, appendectomy, tonsillectomy, explor-lap (abdominal surgery), breast mastectomy (partial/total), thyroidectomy, septoplasty /septorhinoplasty, knee arthroscopy, knee replacement, cataract extraction c PCIOL, incision and drainage of wound abscess, post gastric bypass (VBG), patients with wound dehiscense, myringotomy, excision of pilonidal sinus, hemorrhoidectomy, post gastroscopy / colonoscopy / bronchoscopy and etc.

Responsibilites: Caters to patients who are admitted due to uncontrolled diabetes, hypertension, vomiting / diarrhea. Patients who have COPD cases, asthma, shortness of breath, patients having angina pectoris, mild myocardial infarction, and chest pain. Patients who is going for executive medical check-up, patients who are having joint pains / arthritis, rheumatism, Patients who have history of gastric ulcers, bleeding tendencies / blood loss needing transfusion or any kind of therapeutic infusions or wound infection. Care and management of patients who had undergone the following surgical procedures like: lapcholecystectomy, appendectomy, thyroidectomy (partial/total), septoplasty/septorhinoplasty, tonsillectomy, gastrectomy, knee arthroscopy, hemorrhoidectomy, cataract extraction with PCIOL, dilation and curettage / uteroscopy, post caesarian section, endoscopy/colonoscopy, myringotomy, incision and drainage of wound abscess and etc. Wound care, Blood sample taking for investigations, IV fluid administration/ blood transfusion, Administration of O₂ inhalation/nebulizers, BIPAP machine, NGT/Pegtube feeding, TPN administration, care and management of patients with central lines, PICC lines, TPN lines, urinary catheter, Medication administration via oral, SC, IM, IV, topicals, rectals. Assisting/ giving personal hygiene for those patients who's ADL is altered during confinement. Preparing patients for possible discharge planning and management that includes health teachings / referrals & follow up check-ups.
