Was brought in to support major upgrade projects to migrate SQL Servers running on SQL 2008 and below
versions. Provided physical database design, and technical support. Coached dba team to be more
efficient with SQL Server. Work with the upper management directors in reconciling and assisting
minimize licensing cost initiatives. Plan and co-ordinate hi-level processes to improve and automate
several processes managed on home grown asset management applications. Initiated and implement Sql
Server monitoring tool. Led a team of 26 DBAs in managing multi-platform database environments in
Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, improving team sprint and velocity. Oversaw database security protocols,
backup/recovery strategies, and disaster recovery drills, achieving 100% compliance with
GDPR/HIPAA/SOX standards. Maintained high-availability and disaster recovery (HADR) solutions, ensuring

for SQL server Installations / configuration, Sql Server service pack upgrade, database migrations,
managed overall Sql Logins, roles and authentication modes as part of Security Policies, proactive
monitoring and performance tuning. Manage database backup, restores and error logs. Worked with 20+
software developers distributed across 7 teams. Looking into AWS services such as RDS and Amazon Data
Migration in order to deliver highly scalable solutions.
