• Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, Fixed Assets and Treasury.
• Supervise and monitor cash float and expense replenishments for all branches to ensure uninterrupted operations.
• Review, validate, and approve accounting transactions prior to entry into the financial system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Oversee the daily work of branch accountants and cashiers, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to financial controls.
• Oversee all local and international payment transactions, ensuring timely processing and proper documentation.
• Review and approve monthly bank reconciliations, proactively addressing discrepancies and improving financial accuracy.
• Review supplier statement reconciliations, resolve variances, and maintain strong vendor relationships. Support sales teams by approving and ensure accurate invoicing, through various payment methods (cash, POS, bank transfer, cheques).
• Coordinate with internal/external audit by providing any needed supporting documents. Coordinate with the MIS department on Oracle ERP enhancements, including testing and supervising related project implementations.
• Ensure proper configuration of POS terminals across all regions (West, East, Central) and coordinate with banks to resolve issues promptly.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial and operational reports requested by senior management. Lead, coach, and develop accounting staff through regular performance reviews and continuous skills development.
• Assist senior management with new corporate initiatives and participate in special projects as assigned.

• Keeping track of all payments and expenditures, including purchase orders, invoices, statements, etc.
• Maintaining historical record of payables. Update the General Ledger with the sales transactions and calculate the costs of sales and the profit per unit.
• Coordinate with Shipping department to calculate Freight, Custom Duty all related costs to air and sea shipments.
• Issuing, processing and payment of import LC and recording all the related charges.
• Prepare any ad-hoc reports requested from management.
• Prepare monthly journal entries manually and determine the cost for the raw material used in production.
• Reconcile the inventory account for the subsidiary with the parent to ensure matching and report to senior management. Fixed Assets and CIP Categorization monthly.
