Integrate the supply chain functions of Procurement, Logistics & warehouse.

Revise department procedures, and identify objectives and KPI’s

Revise procurement contracts and third-party logistics transport contracts.

Assure that actual PO’s match the projects’ budget, negative deviations to be investigated.

Understand other departments requirements and limitations; and liaison mutual work methodology that supports a total quality management & common goal perspective.

Support the team in suppliers’ / third party logistics negotiations

Investigate commercial team complaints (if any) regarding lost tenders, if attributed to procurement or logistics BOM pricing

Responsible to plan and evaluate the Supply chain & Logistics potential projects of the organization.

- Qualify and study new projects such as private customs zone at Cairo airport, and Public transport initiatives with new capital, and heavy transport for bulk cargo.

- Revise all project financials with the group Investment banking team, and issue a SWOT analysis with recommendations to executive management committee taking into consideration legislative, economic, political local & regional policies.


- Issue a project work breakdown structure with time phase plan; to assure meeting the Deadlines; required by clients and/or tenders.

- Contract Negotiation with suppliers and subcontractors to optimize on project costs, and to assure efficiency on project start up schedule.

Responsible for purchasing and shipping of Imports, exports, and Local material.
- Responsible to assure timely arrival of material or finished goods to the factory &
project sites.
- Control stock movement between different project sites to avoid redundant
purchasing.
- Liaison with Supply Chain Director & CFO, priority cash disbursements considering
regular delay of receivable collections, and old company debts.
- Negotiate prices and payment terms with Suppliers of products & Logistics services.
- Customs relation for import and export cargo, in addition to settlement of Temporary import customs certificates.
- Fleet Management of owned company trucks.
- Liaison with Commercial department tender estimation regarding Cargo movement Logistics Costs for potential local or international projects.

Manage a team of 56 employee & labor covering the functions of export Logistics, Finished Good Warehouse and Local Dispatch.

- Responsible to assure that flow of goods is effective and efficient from sales order creation till customer receipt of goods.
- Prepare Annual Logistics budget which includes shipping cost of export & Local logistics, finished goods warehouse & dispatch department expenses.
- Prepare monthly distribution forecast for consignments based on coordination with customers and planning department.
- Monitor stock levels and Finished Goods inventory turnover by coordinating with treasury and sales departments.
- Review & modify Logistics department procedures and relevant Key performance Indicators; in order to improve daily operation and to cope with updates in company goals & objectives.
- Negotiate Freight Contracts & prices with shipping lines and Freight Forwarders for annual exports exceeding 4, 000 containers to various destination client warehouses in Europe, Africa, and the gulf area.
- Approve department disbursements to various suppliers.
- Follow up on storage capacity, equipment availability, safety regulations, regular stock counts in warehouse.

- Demand Fulfillment Planning for about 200 chemical items.
- Sourcing and selection of suppliers.
- Monitoring the quality, cost and efficiency of the movement and storage of goods.
- Coordinating and controlling the P.O. cycle & associated information systems.
- Approve purchase orders & revise suppliers Contracts.
- Revise & Report deviations of the yearly Purchasing Forecast.
- Follow up Shipment details, customs clearance, and arrival to W/H.
- Pricing strategy in Coordination with Commercial department.
- Coordinate with Finance Dept. Letters of Credit, bank transfers.
- Identify Warehouse requirements regarding tools, equipment,
space, safety measures, labor.

- Plan for required goods with Sales Dept. & Maintenance Dept.
- Report about aging of Accessories, spare parts in inventory.
- Calculate Mobiles consumption rates for Corporate & Retail sales.
- Execute orders to foreign & Local suppliers
- Negotiate payment terms & Contracts with suppliers
- Scheduling goods arrival to Warehouse
- Follow up with financial department all bank details related to
Shipments. i.e. LC, LG, Transfers, ---etc.
- Check minimum stock levels for accessories & Spare Parts
- Contribute to Process analysis in order to implement Oracle
Financials
- Costing of imported shipments.
- Claims against suppliers or insuranc

- Execute orders to foreign & local suppliers
- Negotiate payment terms with suppliers
- Coordinate with material planning safety stock levels
- Scheduling goods arrival in coordination with the Warehouse
- Customs relation & clearing agents
- Contracts for Insurance & shipping by Sea or Air Freight
- Follow up with financial department all bank details related to
Shipments. For example: LC, LG, suppliers payments, ---etc.

- Prepare bank cash positions
- Revise monthly bank statements; regarding interest & commission
of overdraft accounts.
- Responsible for all bank details related to foreign purchases
- Revise all customs documentation & assure refunds if any
- Follow up receivable collections for doubtful customers accounts
- Forward contracts to assure available foreign currency at lowest rates
