• Review the Architectural Design and input received from the client and understand the scope of work and then plan work accordingly, without changing design intent.
• Specialized in Health care Engineering design using HTM, FGI, NFPA, DHA, and other related standards.
• Coordinate with Architects, Biomedical Engineers, and Mechanical Engineers at various stages of design for successful and timely design completion.
• Carry out complete Healthcare electrical building services such as Lighting, Small Power, Earthing, Lightning Protection, Cable tray/ladder sizing and sections, elevations, and Single-line diagram inline with local regulations and international standards (BS, IEC, HTM and DEWA, KAHRAMAA)using Revit/AutoCAD with minimal supervision.
• Preparing Fire Alarm, Voice evacuation system, and Emergency lighting system in line with local Civil Defense regulations and NFPA regulations.
• Able to create and work on Custom Revit families where applicable.
• Experience in visualizing and produce ac lash free 3Dmodel using Navis works/Revit.
• Prepare Bill of Materials / Quantity Takeoff
• Provide regular work status updates, including risk or concerns to DisciplineLead/ProjectManager/project lead.
• Stay updated with relevant technical developments within the discipline.
• Attend project meetings and calls as required.
• Must adhere to company QAQC process and BIM strategies.
• Daily drafting duties of all Building Services requirements.
• Producing Electrical design development and construction drawings as part of the Project Engineering team.
• Experience with MEP Revit and proper modeling methods and techniques specialized in electrical(Power, Lighting, Containment Electrical Wiring)and ELV(Audio, Security, Access control, CCTV, Fire alarm)systems.
• Develop BIM models of LOD100, LOD200, LOD300, LOD350, and so on.
• Competent in creating new Revit families as per the nature of projects.
• Develop templates as per project requirements.
• Intense knowledge of work-sharing and work set concept.
• Preparation of Substation & Trench detail Drawings.
• Day to day tasks include CAD/BIM drafting, printing, and binding, and another CAD-related assistance for the Project and Discipline Engineers
• Perform interdisciplinary coordination at various stages
• Providing drafting assistance for multiple projects within multiple disciplines as assigned
• Completing projects within timelines and budget
• Design and draw lighting layout diagrams.
• Design and draw power layout diagrams.
• Design and draw LV system layout diagrams.
• Create electrical schematics as per electrical
engineers directions.
• Create visual guidelines for construction purposes.
