Responsible for the preparation of BOQ's, quantity takeoff documents and Method of Measurement (CESMM3/4, SMM7, CSI, QSMM etc.) and final compilation of all Dar's Major projects.
• Study tender documentation “drawings, BOQ’s and specifications” of each project.
• Preparing from scratch the bill of quantities, if not provided by the client, starting from quantities take-off, to providing a detailed BOQ stating all divisions.
• Evaluate Enquiries, prepare necessary packages to be sent and priced by Sub-Contractors.
• Preparation of prime cost estimates, tenders in accordance with client requirements and risk analysis to apply the adequate mark up to finalize the tender submission Price.
• Filtering Prices and preparing the comparative tables.
• Going through the S.O.W of each project to prepare the adequate file requested by the client or the consultant. Pricing the tender after studying the correct & actual cost of materials (Raw, Direct & Indirect).
• Follow up with the consultant and Sub-Contractors.
• Take care of all VO’s if they take place after the award of the project.
• Attend the internal Kick-off Meeting & Hand over all the contract documents to the project team.
• Evaluate tender requirement such as clauses related to terms of payment, insurance, liabilities, warranties, liquidated damages and bonds.
• Attend client meetings, pre and post tender submission to clarify technical and commercial issues
• Prepare a preliminary construction schedule to meet the duration required by the client/Consultant on Primavera P6
• Prepare Contracts with all Sub-Contractors who will be undergoing major project activities.
Major Projects: Sports City Complex (Sultanate Oman), Marina Gate (High Rise Tower), River and Sea (Resort - 50 Chalets), Tilal Bhersaf, Plus Towers (30+ Floors), Aramoun US Embassy Project - Trillium Towers (35+ Floors)- Damac - Panorama Towers - Les Roches - 30 Buildings, 390 Chalets, Porsche Showrooms, Mercedes Showrooms- Beirut Lebanon.
• Cost Planning and Quantity take-off
• Prepare Bill of Quantities in Multiple Worldwide format
• Estimation, tender and contract document production
• Report writing, claim evaluation and negotiation
• Valuation of variations, agreement of new rates.
• Prepare all specifications according to the Design leader recommendations.
• Prepare the Construction schedule and the method statement.
