PR Executive

Core Objectives: Ensuring an increase in PR coverage, excellent media relations and managing clipping reports.
- Assist and participate in projects
- Assist in establishing a public relations activities calendar and ensure implementation of the same.
- Following up with media for scheduling interviews for key personnel.
- Identifying opportunities in the media and placing articles and stories.
- Contribute to the production of the Concept’s magazine and other marketing materials.
- Co-ordinate cross promotions, tie-ups, brand events for store launches, customer evenings and fashion shows.
- Co-ordinate all corporate/brand events including brand launch, seasonal launch, etc.
- Co-ordinate all direct mailing activities.
- Timely update of the company’s website and regular uploading of content on the intranet and internal archiving.
- Manage creative’s ensuring brand image is kept consistent.
- Write press releases and co-ordinate press briefings and conferences.
- Assist in maintaining strong professional relationships with media across television, radio, newspapers, magazines and online (Bloggers) in the UAE and across the various countries Splash is present in.
- Develop and maintain an online database.
- Plan and conduct market and public opinion research, communicating results to client or management.
- To manage and control PR Budgets.
- Manage and generate the brands content across the various online platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, Instagram, Blogs, etc., across brands.
- Liaising with other brand departments to ensure proper online messaging and relevancy is maintained.
- Ensuring consistency of messages across multiple networks - print, television, radio, online, etc.
- Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications and apply the same knowledge to increase the use of social media.
- Maintaining an upward Business Growth.
- Tie-ups with various media houses on sponsorships and barters.

Client Servicing/Account Executive:
- Checking the status of each client's job(s) in the creative department and
verifying that the jobs will be completed on time
- Contacting each client at least once a day to discuss current and upcoming
projects
- Initiating new jobs for the client
- Reviewing and presenting concepts/layouts/copy to the client for approval
- Communicating the client's feedback to the creative department and
discussing the next steps in the campaign.
- Invoicing the client at the end of each job.
PR Executive:
- Relationship building and networking with colleagues, clients and the media
- Monitoring the media, including newspapers, magazines, journals,
broadcasts, newswires and blogs, for opportunities for clients
- Preparing regular client reports and attending client meetings
- Distributing press releases to the targeted media
- Collating, analyzing and evaluating media coverage
- Event management, including press conferences and promotional events
- Undertaking research for new business proposals and presenting to potential
new clients
- Social Media Networking - Facebook, Twitter, etc.
