• Responsible for overseeing the review, initiation and execution of contracts.
• Review contract and seek clarifications, develop engineering concepts and schemes.
• Preparation of P & IDs based on contractual and process requirements.
• Preparation of plant layout as per the equipment and piping layout requirements.
• Experience in preparation of pipe sizing calculations, pipe thickness calculations as per ASME requirements.
• Hands on experience in preparing technical purchase specifications, material selection, preparing purchase specification data sheets, sizing calculations accordance system & contractual requirements for the turbine auxilaries such as centrifugal pumps, lube oil system, Deaerator, Feed water heater, control valves, Pneumatic on-off valve, manual valves and other specialities related to plant.
• Review and technical evaulation of vendor design according to the requirements and the applicable codes and standards.
• Review of performence curve, technical data sheet, GAD drawings, P & ID diagram of vendor design for centrifiugal pump according to the requirement of the system.
• Liaising with customers on a regular basis to ensure the successful design and for technical discussions & approvals.
• Plan and review BOP engineering activities, interfacing with other engineering groups including piping, electrical & instrumentation and collaborators/cooperation partners.
• Performed engineering calculations as and where required to verify applicable code requirements.
