As a part of continuous effort to bring better and more sophisticated products to the market, involved in the Research and Development of Masterbatch to enhance the properties of polymers using Innovative methods of Processing technology on commodity masterbatches and additives (such as UV stabilizers, Antiblock additives, Anti oxidant additives, Antislip additives, Antifog additives, Slip additives, Antistatic additives, Processing aids, Optical brighteners, Infrared absorbers etc., ) for specialized applications

Product Development:
•Pro-actively lead the Product Development activities with respect to immediate Customers requirements in Polystyrene Business
•Continuous efforts to reduce the Manufacturing unit cost (MUC) of Products by replacing existing chemicals with alternate equivalent chemicals without compromising the Quality of the Product and also by implementing Cost Leadership activities
•Comparative analysis of the Competitors material to evaluate and bench mark the Quality to survive in the tough competition with the Competitors
•Development of new colors (shades) within a short period of time to meet the target of OEM’s
Technical Services:
•To Investigate and attend Customer Complaints on priority basis to resolve the issues immediately related to Product Quality
•To carryout Processing trials with new development materials and establish at Customer end
•To enhance the Technical processing knowledge of the Mktg. Personnel by providing Technical Bulletins and Case studies
•New Application development
•Actively participate in Solution Partner activities and provide value added services to the Customers
Others:
•Auditing the ISO Quality (QMS) & Environmental (EMS) Management Systems of other Dept’s and provide solutions
•To actively participate / involve in Safety Management Systems
Technical Services and R&D Nov’04 to Feb’08
•Testing of all Mechanical, Rheological, Thermal, Optical and Chemical properties of polymers in line with ASTM standards.
•Handling / Troubleshooting of Injection molding, Extrusion & EPS Processing machinery
•Hands on experience on Laboratory extruders, Spectrophotometer, Melt flow indexer (MFI), Universal Testing Machine (UTM), Izod impact strength, Falling dart impact, Rubber particle size analyzer, Gas chromatography, viscosity, ultrasonic interferometer, Refractometry etc.,
•Actively involved in proactively studying the Recipe optimization & manufacturing processes of the current range and propose improvements.
•Essaying the role of a leader and Fulltime Member for Six Sigma Projects, Quality Circles, TPM, Cost saving & Turn Around activities.

•Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from LG Chem. South Korea
Six Sigma concept was introduced world-wide to prevent major breakdowns and to make the best Quality product. This majorly works with realistic data collection and evaluated statistically. To identify and remove the causes of defects and errors in the Manufacturing and Businesses processes
