The activities handled me are the following:

1.1 February 2010 - present Procurement Mega Project Department
Attending to the department agreements, suppliers prequalification process, and global agreements that are going to serve SABIC globally as 1SABIC.

The ongoing agreement in hand are :

1. Transformer agreement with ABB.
2. Switch gear agreement with Schneider.
3. UPS agreement with Guttor.

Recently I was involved in two initiatives in which SABIC needs to explore:

1. EMS Markets low coast Countries (LCC).

2. Local Business Development: Localizing SABIC material in the KSA Market by Encouraging the local manufacturers to capitalize in industry, and the foreign-manufacturers to invest in the kingdom and start production locally.

1.2 June 2007- February 2010Project: Saudi Kayan -HDPE (600 M$)
Seconded to one of SABIC Affiliates Saudi kayan complex to handle the procure-ment of the HDPE ( High Density Poly-Ethylene) project in China and Korea during the detailed engineering stage.

Responsibilities included but not limited to:
 Supplier Performance Measurements: KPI, Quality, and performance reporting..
 New suppliers Qualification whom are nominated by the EPC .
 Review RFQ to verify the compliance with the updated deliverables.
 Control procurement correspondences and distribute information.
 Receive all priced commercial bids and prepare the commercial bid analysis.
 Negotiate the prices and conduct Kickoff meeting.
 Follow up and expedite vendor’s deliverables especially for long lead items.
 Control and monitor the change orders and update project documents.
 Verify all suppliers’ invoices and process the payments.
