Buying Duties:
Implementing duties by SAP and E sourcing
Responsible for the purchase of a wide range of goods and services to support the growth and delivery of the business.
Review/assess technical specification, BoQ (Bill of Quantity) and drawings to determine suitable vendors and suppliers
Analyze/evaluate all purchasing requisitions to ensure clarity & completeness in description of material and equipment
Prepare & float requests for quotations to qualified & approved vendor list
Review quotations of identified technical & commercial specifications from vendors & suppliers
Review vendors and suppliers quotations to determine best price and deliver date.
Negotiate with suppliers to ensure that target prices, company’s terms and conditions are met
Prepare comparative analyses documents related to specs, price, delivery conditions and mode of transportation
Prepare & issue purchase orders
Coordinate various technical reviews with projects & end users
Supervisory Duties:-
-Locate, analyze, and develop a consolidated supplier base to meet current and future needs.
-Negotiate and manage all contracts and agreements for assigned suppliers Working together with the Legal and Contracts departments.
-Manage suppliers, cost, quality, and delivery performance/ vendor evaluation. Understand, track, and forecast the key cost drivers and market factors for assigned supplies.
