Coordinating with the different consultants and disciplines involved in the project.
Reviewing the subcontractors’ drawings to ensure their alignment with the proposed design.
Producing the construction drawings for the different packages of the project.
Supporting the site activities and providing the necessary clarifications of the design.
Leading the design team throughout the different design stages.
Overseeing the production of the design and construction documents and specifications.
Coordinating with the different parties involved.
Monitoring the project progress and its alignment with budget, quality and objectives.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Managing all construction activities, overseeing site operations on a day-to-day basis, and ensuring that work is done safely, on time and within budget and to the right quality standards.
Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
* Planning the different construction activities.
* Ensuring the full application of the contract's documents; drawings, details, specification, budget, time schedule, etc.
* Supervising the performance of the different construction activities.
* Coordinating Architectural, civil and EMP activities.
* Project procurement, suppliers and payments.
* Subcontractors' management and quality assurance.
* Workforce allocation, working hours, overtime and productivity rates.
* Communication between the different concerned parties; client, end-user, consultant, municipal authorities.
* Labor affairs, accommodation and wellbeing.
* Site management; equipments, stores, company assets, power, fuel, etc.
* Safety
* Shop drawing and As-Built Drawings
* Taking on the project's early stages of research, site analysis
* Concept generation, alternatives assessment and development
* Scheme design: transforming the concept into GA plans, sections, and elevations. Preliminary selection of materials, systems. Coordinating with other disciplines consultants, approval of authorities, etc.
* Detailed Design: engaging with the detailed plans, sections and elevations, general details, specific details, coordinated EMP & structural drawings, systems details, etc.
* Construction Drawings and Tendering. Preparing the tender documents in coordination with the cost consultants, responding to inquiries. Preparing the For-Construction Document, responding to contractors' inquiries
