• Responsible for overall material availability & inventory.
• Order, reschedule and cancel material based on requisitions and MRP output of raw material.
• Closely check and take necessary decisions for inventory management and inventory control. Special attention to the high value POs in terms of their exact need date, qty and work with supplier accordingly.
• Maintain 500+ open orders 20+ suppliers and maintain long terms relationship.
• Follow-up and expedite with suppliers to ensure customer demands are met.
• Evaluate and determine with logistics the best shipment method to optimize the cost.
• Proactively managing suppliers where delivery dates are at risk by escalating and evaluate opportunities to improve delivery dates.
• Work with account payable team to resolve any invoice disputes, resolve hold issues for receipts and pricing to ensure on time payment to suppliers
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly procurement reports, delivered it to regional procurement team along with the appropriate solutions.
