Iran Bartar is the Beverage Arm of one of the largest companies in the Iranian Food Industry, the Solico Group, with their primary brand Kalleh being the leading Dairy brand within the Iranian Market. Solico group has 4 main divisions: Dairy, Meat, Ice Cream and Beverages. The beverage arm became the youngest product category within the group after its launch in 2010. Since I started working at Iran Bartar, my first aim has been to define a clarified Branding strategy for this company; we have already given birth to the brands Castle and Shams, Castle also has a number of sub- brands to define the product category such as: Castle Pure (NFC Juice), Castle Bubbles (Carbonated Fruit Juice), Castle Brau (Malt Beverages), Castle Malt Cola (Healthy Cola), Castle 18+ (Energy Drinks), Castle Smooth (Smoothies), Castle Sparkle (Sparkling Water), Castle F5 (UHT Juice) and Castle Fruzz (Cheap Mixer) . We have a long way to go but we are definitely on the right track. My passion for marketing and specially branding has helped me throughout this experience, I have already executed very exciting marketing campaigns to launch new products and also to revive products that were not successful in the past, our sales has almost doubled within the last year even though we are currently in the cold season. The sole investor of the SOLICO group is now fully attracted to the beverage industry and he has recently made an investment of around 10 Million Euros to expand our production capacity from three hundred thousand bottles per day to 1.5 million bottles per day, he also invested separately on a 50hl brewery specialized in producing non-alcoholic beer for the middle-eastern market. Furthermore we have recently started our export activities by choosing Iraq (Baghdad, Basra, Karbala and Arbil) and the UAE (Dubai and Abu-Dhabi) in order to kick-start of regional sales.

This is a company that I personally established within the last few months of my studies in the UK before I moved back to Iran. This company is still running actively at my ownership however I do not play an active role. Here is a brief introduction of what INT does:
‘Idehaye Novine Teimour’ was established in October 2006 out of love and passion for new product designs. Our goal, to make sure Iranian consumers are as close to global innovation markets as possible, hence we are constantly searching international markets for new innovations, trends and practical products that could potentially be of interest to the Iranian consumer. In our work we hope to expand the culture of gift-giving by offering a range of products that guarantee a beautiful smile on the recipient’s face. We hope in the near future we can expand our offerings to an amazing portfolio that could satisfy a wide range of tastes, be a practical solution to a wide range of small problems and finally to bring more joy to your colourful lives.
ThyssenKrupp is the second largest Steel manufacturer in the World; they are also famous for making elevators. I was working in a subsidiary of ThyssenKrupp which was operating from the ThyssenKrupp Headquarters in Dusseldorf. I was working for this company for a total of 16 weeks as part of an apprenticeship programme. I was working in the non-ferrous metals division, part of a team that was responsible for the South East Asian and the North African markets. Overall this was among the best job experiences that I have had.
