 Implement the project quality plan, quality control procedures and ITPs. Expedite the review and approval of these documents with consultant.
 Review corrective actions recommended in nonconformance reports initiate and verify corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of any nonconformance.
 Initiate record or provide solutions for quality problems.
 Ensure site personal follow the quality assurance system and assist in training of site personnel in QA/QC system. Also ensure continual monitoring / surveillance of the project quality system.

 Coordinate with the site / independent testing laboratory / third party inspection and project construction in conducting tests and to document and submit them for approval.
 Liase with consultant staff regarding inspection activities, any non-compliances, complaints or areas of concern to ensure that these are handled in a timely and effective manner.
 Preparation of handover documentation package as required.
 Supervise all inspectors and QC staff for effective quality control of project activities.
 Conduct of audits as per schedule including for the sub-contractors.
 Carry out other duties excluding construction / supervision tasks as required by the project management.

Nature of work:
 Develop the projects quality plan, quality control procedures and ITP in coordination with corporate QA/QC manager. Expedite the review and approval of the documents with the client.
 Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance.
 Reviews the corrective action recommended in nonconformance reports initiate and verify corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence of the nonconformity.

 Periodically audit conformance of the contractor and its subcontractors and vendors/ suppliers’ quality management system and as per ISO 9001 requirement and in compliance with the project specifications.
 Liaise and cooperate with project staff and client personnel, to ensure that harmonious working relationships are maintained.
 Raise non conformance reports (NCRs) and discrepancy reports, when activities or products deviate from the contract specifications or normal construction industry practices. Issue NCR as and when product or activity outcome deviate from the standards or project’s requirements agreed contractually.
 Responsible for the tests by independent testing laboratory / Third party inspection and documenting and submitting them for client’s approval.
 Liaise with client staff regarding inspection activities, any non-compliances, complaints or areas of concern that these are handled in a timely and effective manner.
 Supervise all QA/QC engineers, QC inspectors and other QC staff of the project for the effective quality control for the project activities.
 Comply with all safety instructions and standing instructions.
