• I joined M/s Voltas, Ltd. at the onset of the Project and was made in-acting
capacity as the MEP Design Manager, in-charge of preparation and submission
of Shop Drawings (SDs) & Material Submittals (MS);
• Using my in-depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering, my hands-on
experience as Company owner, and at the same time as the Projects Director,
where, not only Electrical works we execute but for Civil, Architectural,
Mechanical, and fabrication works, I was able to handle the submittal’s
production for SDs and MSs attaining 90% of approvals in just about 3 months;
• On the execution side, I handled full package works from 1st Fix to Handover,
managing each milestone using the PERT/CPM technique in time and resource
managements;
• In addition to above, one who’s with knowledge in resource and time
management techniques shall be advantageous in determining manpower
strength, equipment purchase and allocation, slip-free activity schedules - my
tasks and responsibilities were successfully done, and the proof of success was
for the 3-year start to end completion of Barwa City Phase 1 Project (BCP1);
• At the Diwan Amiri Project - Carpark & Utility bldg. relocation, I was tasked to
undertake the “Eaton” Busducts installation of which composed of 17 rows with
minimum 150m in length each and I completed them in 3 months, a feat no-one
has achieved whole world according to Eaton;
• After the Busducts installations, I was tasked to handle the BMS and Telephone,
Data, and wi-fi system installation and handover, and of which were successfully
done on target schedules.
