- Arrange the table of shipping (consolidating the ship
-Coordinate with the suppliers the timely reception of all needed documents for shipping
- Check the packing lists, bill of lading, invoices and all related documents
- Coordinate and follow up with the suppliers and buyers on shipping and delivery dates
- Coordinate and follow up with the forwarders
- Follow up on payments and payment mode (cash, credit, down payment…..);
- Get quotes and arrange import prices for Mike Sport clients
- Follow up with custom clearance agents, when receiving the goods, and ensure to get the
appropriate documents on time
- Communicate the arrival and delivery date of the appropriate goods to the operations
department;
- Meet with the shipping company executives by arranging meetings
- Set up insurance for shipments
- Oversee all communication
- Communicate the retail prices of new material between buyers and the showroom.
- Analyze price proposals, financial reports, and other information to determine reasonable
price.
- Evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed
Key responsibilities:
• Keep contact with cargo agents operating at the Airport and Beirut Port;
• Supervise cargo acceptance process: Weighing, Assignment;
• Supervising and controlling special cargo: valuable cargo;
• Supervise incoming cargo process: location of cargo, delivery orders;
• Preparation of daily reports;
• Arranging cargo Insurances for Air and Ocean Freights;
• Handling the daily expenses of the cargo agents;
• Dealing with basic book keeping;
• Preparing and checking ledger balances and other monthly and yearly accounts of all customers;
• Handling company daily expenses and payroll systems that pay wages and salaries;
• Obtaining, checking and preparing documentation to meet customs requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Mentor and support a team of agents, drive and enthusiasm to make them succeed to reach their data inputting target goals in a quick accurate. The main contact person for the team in regards to training, work-related issues and performance. Monitoring their performance and then provide critical feedback for improvement. Essential requirements are a proven sales track record and an excellent working knowledge of call centre protocols.
