- Title: Section Head of Employee Relation & Customer Service

General Summary: The Section Head of Employee Relation is responsible for managing the range of activities related to employee/labor relations. Principal Duties and Responsibilities: Formulates and recommends program goals and objectives in all areas of employee relations. Investigates problems, such as: working conditions, disciplinary actions, employee and applicant appeals and grievances for retail.

 Responsibilities:
1- Participate and implementation of human resources plans as provide advice on professional matters related to employees relations section.
2- Setup the objectives & KPIs for the subordinates.
3- Lead monthly update meetings with other departments
4- Ensuring the implementation of human resources policy and procedures and the staff matters are approached equitably and according to the best practice.
5- Control and supervise salary system, all kinds of leaves, status changes such as transfer and promotions etc. to ensure that all actions are conducted as per the policy and procedures.
6- Administer health insurance, pension, child education, annual tickets and other relevant benefits or allowances and update any changes related to them.
7- Perform activities related to payroll employees in order to ensure the accurate and timely computation and processing of payroll in the line with the policy and procedures.
8- Resolve dispute and maximize the job satisfaction by working with the manages and employees.
9- Managing employees grievances to ensure fairness and efficiency of final treatment.
10- Ensuring that the disciplinary action are taken against the employees in the time, fairly and in accordance with the policy and procedures.
11- Conducting the exist interview of staff and review all contractual obligations and settle all term to ensure full legal and contractual protection of the company.
12- Implement end of services policy and procedures for all employees to ensure that the proper action is taken.
13- Ensure that there is a proper employees record, leaves, attendance. Also ensure that all the support documents are available in the proper place.
14- Supervise the day to day operations of the employee relation section providing guidance and professional advices.
15- Encouraging teamwork and facilitating related professional work processes in order to achieve the high performance.
16- Improve the relationship with the other departments in the company and conduct the employees satisfaction survey and follow up the result.

Assist in the Supervision /Head and in controlling the activities of Administration Units involved
in the provision of personnel administration services to all levels of company personal based at
Head Office, Includes policy interpretation, reviewing and recommending solution for employees
relation issues, counseling and advising line Supervisors and employees on proper application of
policies and appropriate procedures to be followed and directing the proper administration of the
company disciplinary codes.
Responsibilities:
* Develop & implement ER policies & procedures & contribute to improvements the process to ensure
parity with the performance standards of industry leader worldwide.
* Follows up all outstanding issues relating to the Employee Relation and Customer Service administration
function to ensure timely settlement.
* Formulates reports and generates statistical information from recorded data to identify issue of concern or
opportunities for improvement and recommends solutions to management.
* Preparing & reviewing all ER Committee papers for all cases to be presented to the ER committee.
* Use SAP system & Self-service to approved employees’ requests & data updating
* Review request for Allowances and approve to process them accordingly.
* Control the process of staff leaves status changes, employee movements and other entitlements and
ensures its proper processing and documentation.
* Review the process of resignation & termination for employees and end of service.
* Supervises and coordinates the preparation and processing of personal action forms for company
employee. Includes receiving request reviewing work prepared by subordinates and advising on the
processing procedures or remedial action to be taken according. Ensures proper interpretation and
implementation of approved policies covering salaries and benefits, administration of direct hire
employees.
* Audit all action performed by a team of Department Employee Relation and Customer Service staff
concerning before send to Head Office
* Manage day-to-day ER functions such as leaves, salary administration, and employee needs …etc
Additional Work Experience in Public Relation and Marketing
 Work as team leader for the Public Relation for three months.
 Arranging events and activities with team.
 Organize public affairs, inviting guests, arrange booking and transportation.
 Handling the electronic link between the security department and Public Relation.
 Communicate with outside companies to provide ES with attractive offers. for the employees (Daman,
airlines, hotels etc).
 Participation in Employment affairs.
 Work with the team to establish the mechanism for UAE national’s employment and development.
 Provide ideas and plans for Human Resources to improve the professional experience for the employees.
 Handling tasks with efficiency and effectiveness manner to reach the required target.
* Maintenance, updating and documentation of personnel files.
* Approve requests for Medical Insurance cards & Air ticket invoices for business trip of all employees.
* Participation with HR Department during events ( Recruitment Section, Training Section and with public
Affair)
* Participate in all corporate events such as annual customer meet event & annual staff gathering.
* Advises the team leader/HR Manager on work progress and consults with him on problem relating to
policies, administration and processing of personnel matter for employee within their area of
responsibility.
