Duties and responsibilities
•Technical supervision, monitoring and implementation of mechanical works in line with the project schedule.
•Responsible for preparation and submission of drawings pertaining to mechanical discipline; Construction, Shop drawing and As-built drawing.
•Prepares necessary calculation and design as appropriate to ensure compliance with the design intent.
•Submit materials comprising technical literature and samples as needed for review and approval of the consultant.
•Preparation of method statement for specific construction and operation as needed in coordination with other work discipline.
•Perform quality control activities including inspection, examination and testing of the installations and ensure construction operations are in compliance with project specifications.
•Maintain consistency of work in the project and ensure that the staff is adequate for the project and evaluate their work.

Project: Saudi Strategic Storage Plant (SSSP) - ARAMCO

Duties and responsibilities
•Responsible of the HVAC commissioning activities, start-up, operation and maintenance. Including Instrument Air, Inert Gas, Water Treatment and Sewage Treatment Plant.
•Commissioning activities such as: Purging pipe work, hydrostatic testing, testing of fans & blowers, pumps, compressor, chiller, AHU and other HVAC equipment. Hydronic balancing of chilled water system. Air balancing and pressurization of underground facilities.
•To ensure that the activities in the field are performed in accordance within the objectives and strategies of the section and the directives of the chief supervisor.
•Analyze technical problems and initiate required remedial action.
•Implement the performance of the System Commissioning Acceptance Sheets (SCATS) procedures. Also perform system commissioning on system impacting on safety/performance prior to plant start-up.
•Review completed system commissioning acceptance test sheets.
•Establish and maintain filling system for technical documentation.

Position: Mechancial Engineer February 1, 2005 to Nov. 11, 2005

Duties and responsibilities
• Plan and organize the General Service Department; Maintenance, laundry, transportation, housekeeping department and utilities & building maintenance.
• Prepares quality policy and procedure for the incoming inspection of Ministry of Health pertaining to the General Service Department and Safety Department.

•Review and check the design of HVAC system, mechanical equipment, ducting and piping.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Prepare material take-off and bill of materials for structural and mechanical works.
• Inspect and ensure that correct grade of materials has been supplied and that identification, dimension, materials quantity and end preparation are in accordance with the requisite standard and specification.
• Conduct quantity surveying for sub-contract services; manpower, material and equipment utilization.
• Commissioning and preparation of as-built drawings for mechanical work prior to acceptance.

• Conduct daily pre-use inspection of machine, tools and equipment.
