Approve and revise the yearly Fleet lubricants plan according to machine needs and usages as the manufacturers recommendations and monitor the consumption.
Work as technical supporter, advisor and expert to all fleet section heads staff on the lubricants and tires issues and coordinate with them to avail fleet lubricant, tires, batteries, engine overhauling, body parts, machine shops and machine pumps needs .
Monitor the lubricants performance and efficiency by taken random samples, analysis the results and optimize the lubricants plan.
Oversee field and in-shop maintenance, repair of machines and insure cost effectiveness.
Supervise day-to-day operations of the sections in compliance with the detailed instructions provided by the maintenance chief engineer.
Prepare materials follow-up required for service & component sections.
Execute all kinds of maintenance programs.
Classify, organize priorities, assign and delegate jobs to appropriate staff(s).
Account results or progress toward achieving results.
Interview, train, discipline and evaluate directly or through sub-ordinate staff, assessed and provide training for personnel; directs supervisory staff in planning and scheduling of fleet maintenance and repair.

Manage, organize and control an efficient mechanical maintenance workshop including the management of Technicians and Graded Workers.
Prepare materials specification and order from stock or suppliers ensuring best price and delivery in accordance with The company Procurement procedures. Control the issue of stock items to Technicians, ensuring all materials are requisitioned from stores in the correct manner. Manage the workshop budget by ensuring the above practices are followed; investigating any discrepancies
Manage, plan, control and organize the planned preventative and corrective mechanical maintenance on all of the fleet and other equipment in order to maximize their lifespan and ensure safety. This involves monitoring the performance of the machinery, ensuring remedial work is undertaken to prevent failure/loss equipment and allocating the work on a daily basis to the Mechanical Technicians, monitoring progress and inspecting completed work to ensure the required standards are achieved.
Manage unplanned work resulting from breakdown and emergencies, making sure they are dealt with in efficient manner by prioritizing as required.
Manage the administration of the mechanical workshop. Ensure all log books and departmental records are effectively maintained to enable stock control, ordering of parts and all other workshop functions operate efficiently.
