As a lead systems engineer on the 407 program (light long single helicopter), coordinate with Integrated Product Team (IPT) Leaders and Project Engineers to ensure that proposed product and requirements and changes support a total aircraft solution which includes a clear understanding of downstream implications to the Program, Production, Supply Chain, Supportability, End User, compatibility with other changes, and impacts to key program and technical requirements
 Manage the Bell 407 Program requirements to include maintenance of existing specifications, development and traceability of new requirement datasets, and identification of requirement non-compliances: point of contact with marketing to drive MR&O down to the technical requirements.
Oversight of the Risk Management process to include identification of all Program Cost, Schedule, and Technical risks along with development of risk mitigation strategies.
 Management of the Bell 407 Commercial Program Data to ensure timely delivery receipt of supplier deliverables and provide visibility to the status of upcoming deliverables.
 Development and utilization of metrics to provide the Chief Engineer with a clear and actionable picture of the health of Commercial Program Systems Engineering activities. Those metrics are based on Bell modified ATA chapters.
 Support of the Chief Engineer with the development of Program strategies and plans for related IRAD efforts, fleet sustainment, block upgrades, etc.
 Automated Flight Control System (AFCS project):
Help the engineering team building an Autopilot answering to the best the customer’s requirements defined in the marketing requirements and objectives (MR&O) and that by:
 Conducting a traceability analysis of the requirements from the MR&O down to PR&O and System Requirement Specification (SRS).
 Generating a logical and functional architecture covering all the AFCS use cases. And then for each use case, define the logical architecture and interface definition of how the system works under different scenarios (nominal, off- nominal and alternate).
 Manage the verification activity and taking part of the ground test and functional test procedure covering all the SRS
 E-Engine Project:
Define preliminary technical requirements based on MR&O
Create logical architecture for engine start-up and operation sequence Define and assess Interface impact between Engine and Avionics.
 Business Case development:
Work with the 407 IPT to build Business case for product improvement projects as well as Cost out activities. Examples: Expanded Avionic Shelf, Frahm damper Removal, Battery replacement and Fuel System Improvement. For those 4 projects, I prepared a presentation to cover all the aspects related to those potential changes: technical feasibility, planning, NRE and Business case.
 Sales & Marketing support:
Work with the engineering team to build estimate and solutions for customer requests coming from the sales & Marketing team. Examples: build and estimate for Emergency Float Skid gears as well as Dual release Mechanism for the Cargo hook kit.
 Integrated logistics support (ILS) and Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) for the CH- 146 program:
Work closely with the customer (Department of National Defense) and the internal stakeholders to build an ILS/LSA system answering to their requirements and needs. The system is built to answer the customer’s main requirements: Better availability, reduce maintenance as well as direct operating cost
 Research&Development:
Being part of the R&D group working closely on defining three applications for a new technology.
Define the technology readiness level exit requirements as well as the verification efforts to verify the maturity of the technology at each level. The requirements are based on technical, certification as well as maintenance requirements.
