o Assist the Design Director in managing project design deliverables.
o Leads the coordination with Architectural, MEP & Structural team in Italy and Dubai office.
o Prepares concept design sketches up to Tender drawings & specs for various projects.
o Manages team of design Architects and leads the coordination with MEP and Structural engineers.
o Attends meeting with Client & Authorities and presents design solutions.
o Coordinates with Project Directors, Resident Engineers in all site related issues pertaining to Architectural SD’s & RFI’s.
o Prepares project progress schedule and assign tasks to the design team.
o Researches literature and maintain knowledge of current building materials, structural, mechanical and electrical system codes and methods of application.
o Detailing all complex assembly for the project design and come up with most efficient solution.
•Prepares Conceptual Sketches to detailed Drawings for various Architectural Building Projects.
•Prepares drawing for Client, Municipality, Estidama, UPC and other Authority approvals.
•Produces full set of Architectural working drawings in CAD for Tender distribution.
•Prepare 3D Models & illustrations for Presentation, Building Simulation and Analysis using Sketchup, 3dmax and Revit.
•Coordinates with other relevant trades i.e. MEP, Structural, Procurement Dept., Suppliers etc. for all Architectural design development projects.
•Review and mark-up drawings during Design productions to ensure compliance with the regulations and design intent.
•Respond to RFI’s submitted by the Contractors and Sub-Consultants.
•Prepares write-ups and studies for Architectural design proposals.
•Prepares GIS (Geographic Information System) drawings for ADM approvals.
•Conducts meeting with Client-Representatives, Suppliers, Sub-Consultants and Specialists.
•Creates work breakdown schedules and milestone for the project drawing submittals.
•Gathers information from various suppliers of all essential Architectural finishes.
•Material selection with coordination to the Specs writer.
•Provides technical design support for all Site operation projects.
•Prepares Schedules of Deliverables for Tender Documents.
•Assists Company draftsmen in all Architectural drawing outputs.
o Manages the architectural design of projects and review architectural or engineering plans, specifications and contract documents, to ensure compliance with government codes laws and regulations.
o Performs concept design sketches, 3D visual illustrations, drawings and animation for project proposals and presentations.
o Researches literature and maintain knowledge of current building materials, structural, mechanical and electrical system codes and methods of application.
o Reviews product literature, analyzes materials and determines appropriateness for application to projects.
o Supports the site team in all on-going construction project coordination and solves architectural and engineering design related issues.
o Aids the procurement department for billing and/or pricing of projects.
o Responds to architectural demands and requirements of the client for adequate solution of the project.
o Coordinates with structural and MEP engineers for project’s architectural design efficiency.
o Manages the team of draftsmen in preparing detailed architectural drawings, contract documents and project presentations, and verifies deliverables to ensure compliance with the authority and company norms.
o Works with managers and clients to gather facts, defines design and space planning problems, conceptualize possible solutions and secure approvals of the proposals.
o Advises project managers and technical/design manager of any project requirements, development and progress pertaining to architectural concerns.
