• Leads strategic transactions, such as M&A and major capital raises for Regalis and partner companies.
• Builds relationships for investment with equity and debt investors as part of the capital raising process.
• Currently managing transactions with potential total value of approximately USD 3.7 bln (debt and equity).

Provide finance support to projects, including M&A deals, disposals, capital projects and JVs. Assist with or be responsible for preparation of financing plans, selection of funding sources / banks, the structuring and execution of project financings. Be responsible for or supervise and approve work on non-project related activities (e.g. annual impairment tests, lookbacks, etc). Supervise, train and coach junior members of the team. Manage external advisors, deal timetables and DD exercises, and ultimately execute the project finance requirements under the authority of the VP Finance.

Multi-faceted role between mid-2011 and end 2013.
a) Worked as independent consultant with local investment bank to generate equity research and capital market, private placement transactions with mid-size oil & gas companies in West Africa.
b) Advised the government of a major West African country on the privatization of its electricity distribution and generation companies, tariff setting and valuation through utilizing the national tariff model.
c) Established and jointly managed a private equity fund manager and investment advisory boutique focused on investment in energy and infrastructure in sub-Saharan Africa.

Established joint venture to develop Renaissance Capital's M&A advisory capabilities to the oil & gas sector in Africa and Asia
Based in Istanbul, Turkey - established and managed 6 person analyst team in Delhi, India, focused on generating mandates and research for oil & gas advisory in West Africa and other geographies.
Generated significant oil & gas advisory and capital markets mandates.

6/2009 - 8/2010 - worked as director and portfolio manager in SG-backed debt investment fund; focused on assets provided by commodities producers in emerging markets;

7/2007-6/2009 - served as deputy to head of Oil & Gas Corporate Clients, focused on sectorial and strategic client analysis, support to product groups and new client development.

Part of core team responsible for reviewing, recommending and executing major M&A transactions to the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of Royal Dutch Shell.

Worked on USD 7 bln buy-out of Shell Canada, USD 7 bln sale of shares in Sakhalin II LNG Project

Led USD 200 mln acquisition and Joint Venture creation in downstream refining & marketing, led Shell's market entry into a new country.

Served as Private Equity Associate with 4D Global Energy Advisors, a private equity fund manager seeded and housed with Societe Generale Asset Management (now Amundi)

Responsible for managing 1) overview of potential investments and investment process, 2) monitoring and managing investments in portfolio companies and 3) reporting to and fundraising from private equity investors to create additional funds.

Worked in M&A Advisory, Project Finance and Structured Finance as Associate and Analyst.
