Since 2000, Paula Perissinotto is founder and organizer and of FILE Festival, a cultural organization that promotes and encourages the contemporary art productions and cultural issues related to digital culture and contemporary art.
Founded in the year 2000 the FILE festival is now 17years of producing electronic and contemporary art exhibitions. The festival headquarter is located in Sao Paulo city. Was founded by Ricardo Barreto artist and philosopher and Paula Perissinotto artist and specialist in new media art and digital culture.
It was founded with the purpose to promote a current reflection on the main subjects of the contemporary electronic-digital art universe. During this period, a total of 32 exhibitions were promoted in Brazil. 15 in Sao Paulo. 10 in Rio de Janeiro. 02 in Belo Horizonte. 02 in Curitiba. 02 in Porto Alegre. The country was also represented in Angola, Italy and the Netherlands. 12 cycles of conferences were also organized. 07 workshop cycles. 11 presentations by Hipersônica. 28 bilingual publications were launched. 29 websites. 04 databases systems were updated. More than 3 million and five hundred thousand visitors were received during this years.

She is also responsible for FILE in acts of the selection of works, international relations and the feasibility of formal projects in São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Porto Alegre. Paula has coordinated the undergraduate program in Digital Design at IED-SP European Institute of Design in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
