o As the project controls manger on the client side, led a team of 8 qualified planners and schedulers. Directed all project control related activities for the $2 billion U.S. dollars “Gas Field Development Project” located at Kish island, south of Iran.
The project consisted of about 40 subprojects ranged from infrastructures, and facilities, to industrial subprojects. Major subprojects include clusters facilities preparation project, a 90km of onshore and 10km of offshore pipe line project, one power plant project, a water intake and a water treatment project, waste water treatment project, a 120km highways project, and the gas refinery project as well as other subprojects “mostly as EPCC or PC projects” to subcontractors. The project was designed to produce 970 million ft3/day of gas in phase one.
o Directed schedule development activities, schedule maintenance techniques, project monitoring, change impact identification methods, and recovery plan development actions.
o Directed cost and resource estimations, and controlled budgeted cost reports.
o Provided guidance, and offered innovative solutions for generally non routine cost and planning problems.
o Interrogated schedules submitted by EPC contractors to ensure conformity with agreed contract milestones.
o Reviewed reports prepared by contractors, and integrated them into higher level of reports.
o Analyzed base-plans and forecast schedules.
o Examined underlying logic links and verified correctness together with field managers.
o Supported project/ program organizational and administrative activities.
o Overview document control procedures.
