In my current position I am directly responsible to:
• Analyze project documents including Project Execution Plan, and technical drawings, to prepare activity networks, and to prepare detailed work schedules and manpower histograms
• Manage resource requirements and business needs for projects, anticipate problems; develop innovative solutions and ensure solutions are consistent with organizational objectives
• Update schedules, and perform critical path analysis
• Optimize current scheduling management process, and establish the major scheduling warning system

o As the project controls manger on the client side, led a team of 8 qualified planners and schedulers. Directed all project control related activities for the $2 billion U.S. dollars “Gas Field Development Project” located at Kish island, south of Iran.
The project consisted of about 40 subprojects ranged from infrastructures, and facilities, to industrial subprojects. Major subprojects include clusters facilities preparation project, a 90km of onshore and 10km of offshore pipe line project, one power plant project, a water intake and a water treatment project, waste water treatment project, a 120km highways project, and the gas refinery project as well as other subprojects “mostly as EPCC or PC projects” to subcontractors. The project was designed to produce 970 million ft3/day of gas in phase one.
o Directed schedule development activities, schedule maintenance techniques, project monitoring, change impact identification methods, and recovery plan development actions.
o Directed cost and resource estimations, and controlled budgeted cost reports.
o Provided guidance, and offered innovative solutions for generally non routine cost and planning problems.
o Interrogated schedules submitted by EPC contractors to ensure conformity with agreed contract milestones.
o Reviewed reports prepared by contractors, and integrated them into higher level of reports.
o Analyzed base-plans and forecast schedules.
o Examined underlying logic links and verified correctness together with field managers.
o Supported project/ program organizational and administrative activities.
o Overview document control procedures.

o Developed detailed schedules for construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning phases.
o Loaded schedules with resources according to the BOM, and contract pay item lines.
o Reviewed and approved subcontractors’ detailed schedules.
o Integrated subcontractors detailed schedules into the overall project master schedule, and provided frequent updates to the master plan, and prepared progress reports.
o Monitored contractor progress, and developed and implemented recovery plans as required.
o Prepared project weekly and monthly progress reports.
o Constantly documented all delay evidences, and evaluated EOT, Extension-Of-Time, requests.

o Analyzed progress data, and reviewed project schedule.
o Frequently updated project statues for the entire engineering, procurement and construction departments in the YANBU Petrochemical Complex to make sure that the project will be finished on time and within budget.
o Produced, and documented schedule forecasts, and reported results to the management.

o Managed coordination, and provided services for a 20hec hydroponics greenhouse project on an EPC / turnkey basis, as a “Design-then-Build Project”, for an overseas client.
o Provided cost engineering services, and assisted local Canadian company to prepare and finalize her proposal for the $ 28, 000, 000 project in accordance with client standards.
o Developed detailed construction schedules for all local subcontractors, and prepared master EPC schedule for all phases of the project.

o Prepared Project Milestone Plan and work breakdown structure.
o Detailed project main plan in 2500+ activities in coordination with technical teams.
o Coordinated 10+ major subcontractors, reviewed their schedules, and kept them on track.

o Managed the construction phase of 5 industrial plants in an industrial complex by setting out priorities, and allocating resources across all projects.
o Prepared weekly job orders, monitored performance, analyzed progress, calculated earned values, identified variances and reported to major stockholders.

o Scheduled, and supervised numerous field subcontractors for an EPC project to establish a 200, 000m2 residential and commercial complex.
o Supervised overall generation of monthly invoices.
o Effectively assisted planning team to prepare realistic field job orders.

o Scheduled, monitored and reported progress on an 187km pipeline project to establish a 5m3/sec water distribution system to supply water for major petrochemical plants and some populated cities.
o Analyzed project progress, identified delay causes, and provided mitigation and recovery plans.
o Prepared progress tracking reports, and controlling charts for management’s review.
