Respond and assume the role of on scene commander for all emergency incidents taking place in the organisation’s facilities, leading the emergency response team in emergency situations to primarily protect people, environment and property in order to fulfil the role of protecting company assets against adverse consequences.
Manage day to day activities, designate responsible persons for emergency response duty, direct all emergency operations in line with the standard operating procedures, provide support to emergency response section head and plan emergency management related drills and exercises and ensure monthly targets assigned to myself and the team are safely accomplished.

Liaise with the organisational leadership and operations to increase the level of fire awareness in order to help prevent fires and accidents occurring in the first place.
Promote and enforce fire safety standards in public and commercial premises by acting and advising on all matters relating to the protection of life and property from fire and other risks.
Ensure that all emergency vehicles and equipment are in order and in state of readiness
