Ensco Drilling: Employed as Rig Mechanic on Jack-Up Ensco 71 in the Dutch sector of the North Sea. Duties included service/maintenance of Caterpillar 399 diesels, Varco Top Drive & Star Racker, Rollair Compressors, National Cranes & Mud Pumps, Pleuger Deepwell Pumps, Alfa Laval fuel oil purifier, Atlas Denmark Watermakers etc.

Neddrill: Employed as Chief Rig Mechanic on 'Trigon' jack-up rig, a role which involved the overhaul and servicing of a Maritime Hydraulic Iron Roughneck, 650t DDM & racking System, SACM diesels, National Cranes, Koomey Unit, Pleuger Deepwell Pumps, etc.

Sonat Offshore: Initially employed as a Rig Mechanic before being promoted to Sub-Sea Engineer. Worked on two North Sea semi-submersibles with Sonat, The Sonat Rather & DF 97. Worked with Wartsila diesels, Varco TDS 4 Top Drive, Atlas Copco winches, Price h.p. Air compressors, Maritime Hydraulics Racking System, Golar watertight doors, Thune Eureka pumps, FB 1600 Continental Emsco Mud Pumps, Koomey B.O.P., atlas Copco air compressors, M/H Crown Compensator, Bauer B.A. compressor, etc.
