• January 2020 - February 2022: Welmoed Estate Development Project - $53.6million o Installation of a 700mmØ SWHDPE Sewer Pipeline, 7km through a built-up Residential & Commercial District by means of Open-Trenching, Sheetpile Shoring & Pipe Jacking technology. o Installation of a 700mm O-PVC Water Pipeline, 2.5km from the Existing Blackheath Reservoir to the new Welmoed Reservoir, and down to the new development which it serves. o Supervise the Subcontractor responsible for building the new 5ML Reservoir. o Widening of the Provincial Road to accommodate 2no new entrances to the development, including a Culvert Bridge and a Concrete Span bridge to cross the Retention Ponds. o Earthworks and Civil Instructure for the Electrical Substation to serve the development. o Construct a Temporary Residential Area consisting of 240no Dwellings to accommodate families in need, while construction of Welmoed Estate Development is still in progress.

• On-site Senior Surveyor o Between 2018 and 2020, I served as the senior surveyor overseeing the entire Western Cape division, actively participating in each project during the implementation stage and conducting necessary as-built surveys. o In 2020, ASLA secured its largest tender to date, prompting my reassignment to that specific project, marking a significant shift in my career trajectory.
• Head of Survey Training, Survey Instrument Testing and Procurement (Starting 2014) Key Responsibilities: General On-site Responsibilities:
• Liaising and receiving Control Points from the Clients Land Surveyor upon handover of the project. Check the accuracy of Control Points before work commences.
• Checking all Construction Plans and Details to determine if all relevant and required information has been received from the Design Engineer. Also keeping the registers up to date, ensuring that teams are using the latest revision and retrieving Superseded revisions.
• Perform topographic surveys to map the existing features of the land, such as elevation, contours, and natural or man-made structures.
• Use the above-mentioned Topographic Survey to check the accuracy of the Earthworks vs the BOQ. Perform Topographic surveys as needed to prove progress as required.
• Set out reference points and pegs to guide construction activities, ensuring that structures are built according to the approved plans and specifications.
• Collaborate with engineers and construction teams to communicate survey findings, resolve issues, mitigate risks and provide support as needed.
• Monitor and ensure the accuracy and quality of survey data. Verify that construction work aligns with design specifications.
• Supervise and mentor all surveyors and field crews. Provide guidance on survey techniques and troubleshooting.
• Address and resolve surveying-related challenges that may arise during construction, ensuring that work progresses smoothly.
• Prepare and maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation of survey data. Create as-built surveys upon project completion.
• Promote and enforce safety procedures during surveying activities to prevent accidents and injuries. Training, Testing & Procurement:
• Assess Students and new recruits and perform training sessions, to bring them up to standard with the companys procedures and policies.
• Provide training sessions for Surveyors and Site Engineers, from Junior to Senior Level.
• Stay updated on the latest surveying technologies and software. Integrate advanced tools, such as GPS and laser scanning, into surveying processes.
• Liaising with Sales Reps and Service/Repair companies as needed.
• Address and resolve surveying-related challenges on other projects, telephonically if possible, or perform a site visit if required. Projects Completed:
