Contract Holder for export gas pipelines and gathering systems contracts which include, EPMS, Construction & Commissioning of pipelines, Third Part Inspection (TPI), Design Verification & operations support to O&M contractor.
Providing expertise to complete Concept Selection, Feasibility, and Basis for Design, Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and Detailed Design (DD) phases of the projects.
Responsible for Project Management and Control Phases, providing Input to scope control, Preparation of pipeline packages, project schedule, Progress Monitoring and Control, proper reporting for pipeline related issues, Quality Management & Control. Providing and promoting innovative technologies for timely completion of the projects.
Review and final approval of project design & approved for construction (AFC) packages produced by the Engineering Consultant and controlling as-built documents.
Providing expertise regarding pipeline network optimization, availability, reliability, flow assurance and integrity management.
Providing input to field development plans, well drilling, fracking & completions schedule and final well-pad hook-up plans.
Responsible for pre-qualification and selection of material and equipment suppliers/vendors.
Preparation of ITT packages for Design Engineering Contractors, Pipeline Construction Contracts, and Long Lead Items for the vendors/suppliers and preparing technical bid evaluation of all the items. Attending/witnessing material’s pre-inspection / testing requirements before commencement of production.
Active participation in design reviews, HAZOP & HAZID, ALARP meetings and preparing scope of work for EIA & QRA.
Directing and monitoring the FEED & DD for the gathering system and export pipelines, providing appropriate Technical Assurance of the deliverables.
Procurement support and expediting support for materials and equipment, Quality management support during construction, conducting weekly progress meetings with the construction contractors.
Managing Construction Contractors by monitoring day to day construction activities as per AFC pack, which includes review & approval of pipeline construction method statements, pipeline crossing methods/procedures, Pipeline punch list, Mechanical Completion, pre-commissioning & commissioning procedures like pipeline cleaning/pigging, drying, purging, pipeline packing, Procedure qualification Tests PQT’s (i.e. welding, field joint coating, coating repair), road/existing infrastructure crossing procedures, WPS & PQR’s. Review and checking the as built drawings.
Ensuring that the company and government regulations are adhered too and providing assistance and support to company in the commissioning. Participating in the development and implementation of operation and maintenance procedures,
Managing Interface issues among different contractors to maximize synergies in design, installation and operational aspects of the project.
Providing support in the discussion with local authorities/stakeholders for the various permits required in the execution of project.
Coordinating with Field Operations regarding development of pipeline integrity assessment/management plans, scope of work/specifications for pipelines Inspection surveys (ILI, ECDA, ICDA, SCCDA, MP-ICDA etc.) and maintenance activities. Responsible for the implementation and execution of the Pipeline Integrity Management Plan, Pipeline Inspection Surveys data review and verification, Fitness for service (FFS) calculations, ERF evaluations, RRR and any repair/maintenance plans to ensure the availability and reliability of the entire flowlines and pipelines network.
Design of pipelines system from concept stage to FEED & DD, construction, hydrotesting, pre-commissioning, commissioning & de-commissioning of oil & gas pipelines / flowlines. Review and checking of Pipeline Rout Maps, Station Approaches, Plot Plans, Pipeline Alignment sheets and Hydrotest Profile Diagrams etc.Developing detailed scope of work, design basis document and project execution plan.Preparing cost estimates and project schedules.Hot Tapping and Stoppling feasibilities reports and calculations. Preparation of material specifications and requisitions for Pipeline long lead items.Preparation of Optimum Wall Thickness Calculations report, Hydrostatic Test Calculations, Buoyancy Calculations, HDPE Lining Thickness Calculations and Road Cross Stress Analysis etc. Selection of Mainline Block Valve location, Area Classification, Pipeline Coating, Pipeline Scraper Trap Requirements, Pipeline River, Rail & Road Crossings.Project coordination including multi-discipline engineering, procurement, and construction.
Performing engineering for procurement activities including MRQ/MRP development, technical bid evaluation (TBE) / recommendation, and vendor drawings reviews and approvals.Performing engineering development of Construction Work Package, including project description, construction specifications, AFC drawings and material lists.Participating in Pre-Bid and Pre-Award meetings.
Pipeline hydraulic studies, simulation of pipelines using PIPEPHASE v 9.0.
