• To set the mise-en-place and prepare dishes for V.I.Ps and first class Flights.
• To bring all required ingredients and equipment to prepare foods.
• To assist other senior chef for cooking.
• To make sure all the kitchen environments are hygienic.
• To cut the vegetables, meats, fish.
• To help in blanching, boiling. grilling, frying.
Responsibilities:
• To provide all the needed ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Maintained high standers of food safety quality and hygiene.
• To check all the foods expiry dates.
• To follow FIFO (First-In, First-Out) and LIFO (Last- In, First-Out) methods.
• Responsibility to maintain cleanliness, sanitation at the assigned work area.
• To help senior chef make the dishes.
• Work in the designation station as set by senior chef.
• Able to operate kitchen equipment like braising pan, baking oven, stoves, grills, microwaves and fryers.
• Communicate any assistance needed during busy period.
• Need to communicate very politely with other kitchen staff.
