Working with Meghna PVC Limited in Ethylene Terminal &VCM Plant Tank Farm area at Meghnaghat, Sonargaon, Narayanganj, Dhaka, Bangladesh as a Shift in Charge from 01st October 2021 to till now. Terminal having throughput capacity of 0.80 MMTPA of Ethylene and storage capacity 20000 m3. I have well versed experience by handling erection, pre-commissioning, commissioning and start up actively along with EPC (CNNC-China Nuclear Industry Fifth Construction Co. LTD) and PMC (HYEC-Detailed Engineering & TGE Gas Engineering-Licenser) contractors.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•As a Shift In Charge looking after shift administration, manpower handling, work permit issuance, shift report, equipment isolation for maintenance, job hazard and job safety analysis, housekeeping of the site, documentation, emergency handling, process parameter analysis and reporting to the superiors.
•Performing specific responsibility for the continual training and appraisal of subordinate.
•Provide pre-commissioning, commissioning and startup expertise to the project team and design consultants, ensuring that all design decisions and the development of the project execution plans are fully aligned with the objectives of achieving safe commissioning and a flawless start up.
•Monitors and manages activities of EPC contractors and other services providers to ensure that the design and project is effectively carried out safely, on schedule and within budget.
•Attend design review meetings as required as per assigned systems, i.e. hazard and operability (HAZOP), Process and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) review, model review and cause & effect diagrams review to provide input.
•Participate in all pre start up safety reviews (PSSR) and pre start up hazard study activities.
•Support commissioning and startup execution activities and associated permit to work (PTW) requirements. Part of JSA/JHA preparation team.
•Support the CSU lead in producing project commissioning and startup deliverables (plans, schedules, man power, budget, procedures) in line with corporate standards and methods.
•Directs and co-ordinates the Pre-Commissioning activities of the projects within the approved design and specifications.
•Review and provide input of detailed process commissioning startup and performance test procedures.
•Supervise, co-ordinate and review the work of assigned commissioning engineers & operators assign work to meet completion dates.
•Perform a walkthrough of the whole system to ensure proper line up prior start up.
•Assist in startup of new systems and equipment at the jobsite.
•Carry out all commissioning and startup activities safely to schedule and punch list allocated systems.
•Involved P&ID and PFD review and modification.
•Preparation of loops & markup P&ID for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
•Actively involved in preparation of pre-commissioning, commissioning and standard operating procedures (SOP) and its implementation from field.
•Imparting pre-commissioning and Commissioning of Double Wall Ethylene Tank (DWET), Horton Spheres, Atmospheric Tanks, BOG Compressor, Propylene Refrigeration Compressor, Condenser & Vaporizer for Ethylene, flare system and involved in SAT test for Ethylene unloading arm operation (SVT).
•Inspection of pipelines, instruments, pumps, heat exchangers, vaporizers, vessel internals and externals, firefighting system as per drawing.
•Handling & storage of materials like Propylene Products/Off-Spec VCM, Wet/Dry Crude EDC, Furnace Feed-EDC, Heavies, Lighters, Caustic Soda, HCL and H2SO4 etc.
•Communicating and maintaining a good relationship with supporting department and downstream plant personnel to create a good working environment.
•To respect the company policy and to follow the rules & regulation laid down by management time to time.

Worked with Adani Group Of Companies-LNG (GSPC LNG Limited) & LPG (Mundra LPG Terminal Limited) at Mundra, Kutch, Gujarat as Senior Engineer from 10th June 2019 to 16th August 2021.
GSPC LNG Limited is a joint venture company of Gujarat State Petroleum Limited and Adani Enterprises Limited. It is an LNG import, storage, Re-Gasification, LNG tanker loading and transferring of liquefied natural gas terminal. Terminal having capacity of 5 MMTPA and 2 storage tanks with each capacity 160000 m3.
Mundra LPG Terminal Limited is a company of Adani group. It is a Propane/Butane import, storage, Re-Liquefaction, Propane/Butane/LPG tanker loading terminal. Terminal having capacity of 1.56 MMTPA and storage capacity 25000m3 of Propane/Butane each.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Handling shift independently and manage team of 08 operators in every shift for Plant & Instrument Air, Nitrogen, Double Wall Tank, Compressor & Pump House, Re-Condenser, Re-Gas Metering Station, Heating Train and Tanker loading area.
•Ensures safe and efficient operation of LNG/LPG Terminal, perform all regular and routine operations and emergency operations that arises from time to time. Supervise the static/rotary equipment assigned during the shift and verify operating log sheets to ensure records are accurate.
•Monitor and control the plant process and associated parameters from the DCS, supervising plant operations and troubleshooting including development & risk assessment of operational overrides.
•Constantly Monitors DCS, ESD interlocks and FGS (Gas/Flame Detectors, MCP) system and takes corrective action as required.
•Contributes to the development of operational procedures, training manuals, Permit to Work (PTW) and other documentation.
•Oversee connection and disconnection of marine arms are properly connected before commencement of LNG transfer.
•Conduct safety/operations meeting with vessel representative prior to the commencement of unloading operation and monitor for leak during unloading. Also involved in marine activities like vessel mooring & berthing.
•Adopts standard safe work practices and procedures in accordance with the Environmental Health & Safety and Safety Management System & Safe Operating Procedures.
•Identifies and reports workplace hazards, incidents and near misses and takes action to control hazards. Takes part in site risk assessments, incident reviews, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) reviews, procedure reviews, and emergency response exercises.
•Maintains effective communications with shift team members and others, including well documented and structured shift handovers in accordance with SMS Operations Excellence.
•Involved in Pre-commissioning & Commissioning of LNG Vapor & Liquid and Propane/Butane Unloading MLA, LNG/ Propane/Butane Double Wall Tank, Mounted Bullets, BOG & FOG Compressor, LP LNG Pump, HP LNG Pump, In Tank Pump, LNG Re-Condenser, Shell & Tube Vaporizer, FDAV (Forced Draft Air Vaporizer), Shell & Tube Super heater, Water Glycol System, Truck Loading facilities of LNG/Propane/Butane/LPG, Ambient Air Heater, Re-Gas Metering Station.
•Involved P&ID and PFD review and modification.
•Involved in first ship unloading of LNG & pipeline commissioning from ship to shore & shore to ship of LNG.

Gail India Limited government owned gas based petrochemical complex is designed to producing 450 KTPL of polymer grade of ethylene from petrochemical 2 complex. Plant having ‘W’ type ultra-selective conversion twin cell 3 furnaces. Furnace is supplied by Stone & Webster Engineering Corporation, USA and licensed by Technip.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Responsible for smooth & safe field operations, troubleshooting, startup & shut downs, emergency shutdown & safe handling of all associated process of Ethane/Propane Cracker unit with normal operation.
•Hands on experience in startup & shutdown, Cracking, Decoking & Hot Steam Stand by (HSSB) of Twin Cell Furnaces.
•Monitoring Of CO at Furnace outlet by DMDS Adjustment and pH maintaining in Steam Drum by Phosphate adjustment.
•Hands on experience in operation of Ultra Selective Heat Exchangers (USX) and Transfer Line Heat Exchangers 1 & 2 (TLX).
