DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY
➢ Initializes and establishes the Quality Management System (QMS) through the Project Quality Plan (PQP).
➢ Authorized and responsible to assure that all project activities affecting quality are in compliance with established and
approved PQP.
➢ Determine and establish quality objectives and Preparation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), assessment reports &
recommending improvement actions.
➢ Review and approve material submittals for conformance with project specifications by direct review and ensuring
the supplier/manufacturer compliment statement.
➢ Developing, implementing and maintaining an effective quality control system that complies with the general
conditions of contract and specification requirements through preparation of work related Method Statements (MS)
and inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
➢ Consistently maintain high level of customer, contractor satisfaction and; accurately and precisely fulfill requirements,
resolve/manage conflicts and issues appropriately present solutions efficiently and effectively.
➢ Controls & analyses non-conformities and involved in the proposal, implementation and follow up of the appropriate
Corrective actions. To initiate action to prevent the occurrence of nonconformity relating to the quality system.
➢ Ensure quality records are maintained, as obligatory by the quality system and customer requirements, ISO 9001
Requirements.
➢ Undertake awareness training in the project Quality Management System, ISO, procedures and methods and ensure
that all internal and external project members are trained in accordance with their duties.
➢ Identify the training requirements of staff; prepare training modules for Induction, Technical & System trainings.
Conduct trainings, evaluate the effectiveness of training and modify the modules as required.
➢ Lead a pre-inspection meeting with project staff for critical activities to explain the activities sequences and
inspections & measuring requirements.
➢ Prepares quality assurance audit checklists, conduct 1st (internal) audits and 2nd party audits (on Subcontractors,
Suppliers, etc) to verify the effectiveness of the project quality program and report audit results.
➢ Identifies and reports conditions that require corrective action by management and follows up to ensure completion.
➢ Follows up on actions taken in response to audit findings to ensure adequate close out.
➢ Maintain client liaison and communication for the quality related activities and Participate in QA/QC Meeting with
client and consultant.
➢ Follow-up of internal and external laboratory testing and verify the test reports for materials, concrete, etc.
➢ Preparing and circulating “Quality bulletins” of relevant issues to communicate with in organization.
➢ To initiate, recommend or provide solutions to quality related problems, through designated channels.
➢ Determines, collects, and analyses appropriate data to demonstrate the suitability and effectiveness of the quality
management system.
➢ Deploy QC Engineers for Inspection off all works to verify the compliance to approved method statement, shop
drawing and specifications.
➢ Excellent in motivation and managing QA/QC Engineers/Inspectors and Document Controllers
➢ Planning, coordination &control of construction & site activities in order to provide most optimum use of existing
resources
