A DCS operating engineer to continuously monitor & maintain operating parameters as required for smooth & continuous operation of the plant.
To monitor the safe running of equipments like Mills, Fans, Pumps, Motors, CEP, BFP, MOPs, Instrument Air Compressors, Chiller units, etc.
Ensure implementation of safe work practices of various areas like, boiler, turbine, Ash Handling, coal handling plant, cooling tower, DM plants, etc.
Co-ordinate, communicates, directs & controls all the field engineers in shift.
To instruct the operators & field engineers from time to time for smooth and uninterrupted operations & inform them about the permit issued for the respected equipment.
To Maintain the load schedule as per instructed by shift In-charge. To analyze all operation data with respective standards and log all deviations and report to Shift In-charge & HOD - Operation.
Ensure proper coal flow from Bunkers and timely filling of bunkers.
Conducting the plant round & shall update all identified defect during the shift in defect register.
Carry out Positive Isolation (LOTO) of equipment as requested by maintenance.
Ensure that necessary trial is conducted after the maintenance. Conducting route cause analysis of Technical incidents.
