• Head five teams for a US$2.72 billion company with 52, 700 employees, producing technically accurate electrical system design & deliverables ensuring full compliance with international electrical standards and project specifications (NFPA, IEC, CSA, IEEE, NEC and BS & NEMA).
• Leading a team of 38 engineers & designers, assure conformance with standards & International codes, established engineering practices. Represent electrical project team with the client, support to site execution team. Model review with client and other discipline.
• Lead electrical system studies on ETAP scrutinizing cable pull, Ground grid, load flow analysis, short circuit analysis, transient analysis, generator model and arc flash.
• Accurately devise technical specification, material requisition, and service requisition, laying groundwork for project standards.
• Receive and evaluate bids, clarify deviations, then recommend vendors for smooth and fast work.
• Carried out job as a responsible engineer and handled big package vendors (Atlascopco, ABB, L&T, ECE, Cummins, Stamford etc.) of the plant.
• Present technical reports to Engineering Group Supervisor, advising on project progress.
• Coordinate suppliers and site execution teams, guiding site project managers in all activities for controlling and executing project within time schedule and budget.
• Formulate detailed engineering of equipment for GIS (380kV), MV & LV switchgears, rectifiers, transformers, motors; relay panels, Emergency DG Sets, auxiliary power distribution, and UPS.
• Complete cable engineering in Setroute software, lighting & grounding system design.
• Establish electrical building layouts, SLD, underground & above ground raceways, installation details, control schematics, heat tracing, classified area layout and lighting layouts.
Preparing technical specification, Material requisition, and Service requisition.
Receiving offers, clarify deviations, Bid evaluation, and recommend vendors; present technical reports.
Detailed engineering of the equipments for MV and LV Switchgears, Transformers & Aux. Power distribution.
Cable Engineering, Lighting & grounding System design, UPS, Cranes and D.G Power system design
Preparation of building layouts, Underground and above ground Raceway design
